..and then you see a liquid goo on top of your computer when you wake up and noticed it was saliva and that it had flibberflubbered your keyboard, so you go buy another one.

Obviously, you've never broken your keyboard with your own drool...and worse if it's a laptop.
Relevance to the post: In order to sleep, you must stay awake, in which you fall asleep on whatever you're doing, i.e. computer

This would not work for me since I would be able to stay awake, I get to sleep by thinking of something which is were my big imagination comes in handy but I wish I could dream about what I imagine though.

There's a certain window where you're a good enough student to want to sit in the front row of class, but not good enough to assure that you get plenty of sleep every night. I am in that window. I've started to fall asleep in plain view of my professor before. :/

Amen Dub. Amen.

In my own defense, it's only first block, and I'll only sleep if we're doing something useless. AKA pointless movie days because no one felt like teaching, or the free days we had in gym class.

The longest I have slept was either 13 or 15 hours. This is when school ended for summer break. You can tell how tired I was. :/

The longest I've slept was 14 hours as well, but it was during one weekend. The longest I've spent awake, however, is 23hrs and 30mins.

The longest I slept was 16 hours...

My dad and I had driven to Florida, and I had spent most of the night before awake (try sleeping in the passenger seat of a truck at a rest stop in the part of northern Florida with a high crime rate when it's 85 degrees outside with a man sleeping in the driver's seat that snores like mess). We got back at 2 PM, I went to bed at 6 PM, woke up at 10 PM (with food poisoning), went back to bed 20 minutes later and woke up at about 11 AM the next day.

Teehee, that was an experience.... *sarcasm, wasn't pleasant*

Slept through a whole day? I heard some people have done that but I thought it was an urban myth.

Added: I was told once by my mother that I slept through a few days as a child but I don't think that is even possible, and I am sure she was joking.
I don't even remember why I was so tired. I just remember waking up at around 8 or 9 pm the next day, and i thought the dark meant it was early, so I was wondering why my brother had a baseball game so early in the morning XD

The longest I've stayed up is: about 43 hours. After that, whatever energy I had left just disappeared.

Sleeping? Never heard of it.

I wind up staying up until around 5 or 6 am every night on weekends. Sundays have seen up up all night several times recently. The shocking part? I actually do have classes during the week, which I manage to get to, and be prepared for.

So have I, I can't sleep after 10:30 AM now, and I'm usually awake before that.

I suppose I was just exhausted and wore out. I had also gone to bed at like 2:30 AM yesterday/today. xD
