there is this shelf over my bed. right over where i usually put my head. today, after school, i came back and found out that that shelf, that had a lot of heavy books on it, collapsed. makes you wonder, how lucky it is, that i wasn't right under it when it happened. :3

Strangely enough, I've had a shelf over my bed as well. I kept hitting my head on it by accident. This was forever ago (and by "forever" I mean the mid-to-late 1990s. *sighs*).

also, the muffins and cookies shelf ripped my reading lamp out of the wall! D:< how am i supposed to read now?! although, the wiring is still good, so it works and thats kinda funny. :p

Well, if the force was enough to rip a lamp out of your wall then it would have hit you pretty hard on the head, and apparently if you sleep within two hours of getting hit on the head you can go into some kind of coma (I do not know for certain but perhaps someone else might).

I used to have a reading lamp in my old flat where I lived. Happened that it fell on my bed when I was reading

But it was a safe lamp.

Now we're waiting for our new house to be finished. But this time I don't want to have a reading lamp above my head when I sleep. I plan to make a special sofa for reading, with an old and fancy lamp stading nearby.

To have it short: My brother slept, my cat was hungry.
So she entered his room, climbed around on the bookshelf over his head and threw down all the heavy books.
Luckily he wasn´t hurt
