Still prefer original to Johnny's version. More because I love how much emotion Trent puts into his voice when he's singing.
I actually go and listen to it when I'm feeling extremely...out of it. Something about it just meshes with me then. Love it.

In my humble opinion this is the best cover of any song I have ever heard. Trent Reznor went as far as to say that his song now belonged to Johnny Cash.

honestly, I've listened to the original song, but I can;t feel the emotions as well as I can with Johnny Cash. I really think it's how Johnny Cash seems to have a different tone in how he sings it. Up to opinion I guess, they're both performed really well.

The NIN version is good, but Cash's voice is just perfect for that song.
