When I was 8 years old "Rock 'N' Roll High School" came on TV. Even though I did not know who the Ramones were at the time, I knew that I wanted to be them!

I don't care what anyone says, the Micheal Graves years were easily on par with the Glen Danzig years.
I love the Ramones too, they're just not a favorite, probably top ten
Graves's stuff was really good but it was nothing compared to Danzig's run. I personally like both and think bashing on Graves is rather silly(I mean who could hatethis ) but it doesn't mean Danzig wasn't about a million times better.
I think in Non-sequiturs
"I told you not to put metal in the science oven! What'd you do that for?"
I agree. I like both of those eras. I actually had some record snob jump in front of me when I was wearing a misfits shirt and ask "Danzig or Graves! Huh?!" I gave him the choice of getting out of my way or carry a beating!
In a bit of Punk rock cross pollination, Marky Ramone took over on drums after Jerry Only restructured the band again, on "The Day The Earth Caught On Fire" single http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oho-j_MeqRM
and the ill-fated "Project 1950". I am going to "Mad Monster Party" in Charlotte and Marky is going to be there!
Also the Ramones had a HUGE impact on the development of heavy metal. Lemmy from Motörhead credited the Romones's fast paced playing style for influencing theirs. He even payed tribute with the song "R.A.M.O.N.E.S" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IouixybLYVo
Guys that was a distraction For you to see the second link
I actually hate punk.
Dead Kennedys are hilarious, I don't really care if they're punk or not.

I love that Rammstein cover
it's so bad but it sounds like they're having so much fun.

I wish I could be cool like you and write off an entire Genre but I prefer to keep my musical horizons broad (which isn't to say I have no biases)
