What is it? The video was taken off YouTube so we can't really see it.
Re: Music.
Oh! Well. Sorry about that. Let me try again.
I guess this and others by lou bega was a big factor in the formation of my musical tastes as a young child.

the video wasn't removed, you just left an 8 out of the URL the first time.
however, the actual video isn't available in the U.S. due to copyright. I at least don't need a video to know Mambo No. 5

Re: Music.
I grew up listening to Radio Disney, so I know what Mambo No. 5 is since they played it on there quite often to the point of annoying. They replaced alcohol references with candy and the names of the girls with Disney characters.
The other song they spammed was "Let's Get It Started" by the Black Eyed Peas, which is still a song I like.

I love that song. Great find Amazee Dayzee!
Fun fact, this level was originally going to be in Banjo-Kazooie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mafPZBnkDVE

Oh, memories from 1999 summer come up with that song by Lou Bega! A great success. Listen the second single released.Whozjama wrote:Somehow my parents happened on a Lou Bega CD, when they usually listened to asian classics from the 50-70s.
I listened to this in the car when I was a tiny little thing.
I've fixed the link in the quote.
I kinda like it, too. There are other songs of them which I like, but they've also made bad ones. This is their best.Amazee Dayzee wrote:The other song they spammed was "Let's Get It Started" by the Black Eyed Peas, which is still a song I like.

This group made history, that's sure.
And for the third time! But maybe nothing could repeat the success of that song.Amazee Dayzee wrote:Hey I remember The Verve! Such a shame they broke up in 2009.

Ah, I remember that playing on the radio. I listened to BEP among others in high school. Not so much anymore.
Thanks for fixing the link! hehe oh man (-_-;)Cesco wrote:Oh, memories from 1999 summer come up with that song by Lou Bega! A great success. Listen the second single released.Whozjama wrote:Somehow my parents happened on a Lou Bega CD, when they usually listened to asian classics from the 50-70s.

I've heard that one too! I enjoyed it very much as well. It's a shame Lou bega appears to be a one hit wonder.
It would've been nice if he continued to be popular.
Now! My contribution to the thread so I don't get chastised. Something from the MLP fandom.

Re: Music.
Did you know one of the members of Metro Station is Miley Cyrus' step/adopted brother?
and the other member's brother is another Hannah Montana cast member. They actually formed the band on the set of the show.

Re: Music.
Yeah I already knew that about Metro Station.
Trace Cyrus is Miley's half-brother (same mother, different fathers, Billy Ray adopted him).
Mason Musso is Mitchel Musso's older brother. Mitchel Musso played Oliver Oken on Hannah Montana.
The other three now former members were Blake Healy (from a band called Synthetic Joy, a drummer named Anthony Improgo and a keyboard play named Kenny Bozich.
You would think with how big his baby sister is who will no doubt be bigger if the rumors are true.

Broadcast- Lunch Hour Pops
British band I always thought were somewhere between haunting, and beautiful.
The Teardrop Explodes- Sleeping Gas
The lyrics of this one confuse me. At first I thought "But you can watch gravity turn into a cereal", then I found out it's actually "But you can watch Rafferty turn into a serial". Amount of clarification during that realization: 0.

Such a shame they disbanded. I liked "Hey Ya!' as did most of the US since it was number 1 on the charts for a while. He needs to make another song with Gwen Stefani.

That song was actually a big hit of their's in 1999. Personally, I liked "Fly" and "When It's Over".

This! I live to discover/rediscover stuff like THIS!
Gosh it feels so great to find great stuff.
Edit: Actually, while I'm riding on the sounds of the sax, I'll throw this tune into the mix as well.

But hey, I'm always down for new Binärpilot.

The Notwist are one of my favourite modern-day bands, and they're an Indie-Rock band from Germany.
Does this mean you can't Do the Twist while listening to them?
I dunno.
