Saw it this morning. It was great. I'm glad they had a bit of a cliffhanger at the end, though I hope they don't go and try to make a sequel. It wasn't really a cliffhanger, but it left you uncertain of the outcome of the movie.

I think the best way to describe it is the way Hitchcock thought horror was supposed to be done. You aren't supposed to see the horrible things happen because your imaginings will be much worse than any Hollywood special effects or writing. Same with the ending of Inception. You're unsure if he's still in the dreamworld or not, but there's a chance either way. Most people will want him to have made it back, but there's that sliver of doubt that makes it all the more real.

I really suggest going to see it. Just don't bother with 3d. There's never any immersion in 3d, they just use it for gimmicks.

I saw it yesterday, and it was so. Awesome. Everything was great, and I loved the surrealism of it, as well as the genre-bending.

My belief on the ending:
The top fell over.

I'm glad folks here enjoyed the movie as much as I did!

As for the spoiler tags, this was the entire audience's reaction at the showing I went to:

"AAAWWWWWWW!!!"

I hope more of you will watch it so you'll know what we're all talking about!

PS: Now I want to dream while sitting in a van that's travelling at top speed and swerving through traffic!

I agree. With Shutter Island, and now Inception, the dude is becoming quite the actor! And now he only stars in psychological thrillers, my FAVORITE type of movie!!!

I thought the costumes the actors' wore in inception was pretty cool too. Lear jackets, vests and rotating hallways. Who doesn't like that?

I wish I wore those kinds of awesome costumes in my dreams, instead of the more embarassing sorts..... (or none at all).

Was anyone else seriously reminded of Super Mario Galaxy by the Paris/hotel scenes?
