PvZ Garden Warfare is surprisingly fun. Like Call of Duty, but with fewer hackers.

Pumped for Mortal Kombat X. Yes, it's gory, but it's going into slasher horror area now and i actually like to see a fighting game that goes into slasher horror stuff. X3

Also, i think it's really neat that DC Comics made a prequel comic for this game. I can't get them until another 2 weeks, but it still looks awesome.

And both Sub-Zero (Steve Blum!) and Reptile are awesome

I voted for Krystal. We need another Star Fox character who isn't a Fox variant.

An image has been going viral about voting for the reckless silhouette from the Wii warning screens. I would actually find that hilarious if they went through with it.

I voted for Marshal (one of the Chorus Kids) from the Rhythm Heaven series. I think having a Rhythm Heaven character could be fun and Marshal would fit in nicely.

If there was a character from Rhythm Heaven, I'd prefer Wrestler.

What characters aren't in the game? there's about 50 now, back in my day we had about 16.

I vaguely remember this era, back when Kennedy was still alive and Barishnakov danced for Napolean's German Olympic team, right?

I say they should add Shadow the Hedgehog as a PC. Though, that would kind of make things too easy, wouldn't it?

I know that they have red mario, green mario, yellow mario, pink ball 1, pink ball 2, fluffy tail, and falcon punch.

Amaterasu would be tougher since God only knows who has the rights these days.

Microsoft seems cool with allowing Banjo and Kazooie. I have a lot of respect for them for that. Please, Nintendo!

Microsoft is exceptional in that they're a direct competitor to Nintendo, though. Sega, Konami, Namco and Capcom don't have consoles to compete with the Wii U, nor do other third-party developers.

It's a shame I've been kinda distracted playing other games over stuff like Bravely Default and Majora's Mask 3D but meh. Persona Q and Theatrythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call are way more fun.

Found a good working copy of pokemon colosseum which I am playing through. It's a shame my Furret is a girl, Rick vs Ho-oh would have been funny.

Actually I named it Rainne, Rick is the male name I use. My one on Sapphire is called Rick though.

I just noticed all my double battle teams remain consistent between the new DS games and my colluseum game, even though the pokemon on colluseum are limited to Shadow pokemon only.

I haven't touched my DS in awhile, but i miss playing Pokemon X/Y more than the newer ones.

I also didn't see many people on Smash Brothers. anyone still play that? :3

Yesterday an LP of this crowdfunding campaign's demo showed up in my feed, and I thought it was worth sharing. It's a really gorgeous looking 16-bit retro-game and I hope it gets funded.

I don't play it habitually anymore but I'll always accept offers to play if someone asks me and I'm free!

And I loved playing Pokémon X/Y. I can still play it, of course, but I already did most of what's worth doing. It's most fun when I have friends playing it too, or if I'm still working through all the main content. Which neither are the case currently.

I just got done beating Final Fantasy 13-2. Now I'm in the middle of Dragon Age: Origins, which I've owned for years but have never beaten. After that, I plan on beating Milla's side on Tales of Xillia so I can finally open up Tales of Xillia 2. Yeah, if you can't tell, I like RPGs...

I actually just saw a panel at a convention that addressed this.

apparently, Square was known for making less popular clones of popular games. They were going under and decided to have one more game, a clone of Dragon Quest, and they called it Final Fantasy because it was going to be their last game.

then it got popular and they kept going. It was too late to change the title of the series

Actually, it was more of a clone of D&D at the time. Though i'm sure i recall they had some influence from Dragon Quest at the time. Mainly their sales. X3

Still surprises me they are doing better than Capcom these days. I use to think Capcom was going to be the top winner for a long time, but when they focused so much on fighting games...

Also, awesome to hear that, Sleet. I'll book a couple of games this week :3

On a side note: Got Mortal Kombat X. Having a humorously bloody gory ball with it (as you would expect from Mortal Kombat). Played online with people for the past two days after beating story mode. they are taking alot of DC/Hollywood approaches these days. The fans of this game are as routy as your average sports loon, and this i find funny and fun at the same time. My favourite characters are still Reptile and Sub-Zero, but Sub-Zero has become alot more awesome this game, especially with Steve Blum voicing him.
