We missed the normal window for Species Change Week this year so as a forum we're going to have our own SCW starting the first Sunday of June instead. All you have to do to participate is for that week change your profile picture to something of a different species than what it is now (or into something completely different). Feel free to post full art and/or a blurb for your SCW avatar here.

Well the Sailor Scouts all have a lot of transformations in the original series so I have a lot of poses to go through.

I'm a Spheal! It's an Ice/Water type Pokémon from Ruby and Sapphire. As it's name implies, it's a spherical seal. It moves faster rolling than walking or swimming. The specific image I'm using is from Black and White (and Black 2 and White 2).

I am my Elite: Dangerous CMDR, who is also named Nathan Kerbonaut. He has an Elite rank in Trade and Exploration and Master rank in Combat. His main fleet consists of an Anaconda fitted for deep space exploration, a Python for mining (mostly Void Opals), and a heavily engineered Krait MkII for hunting Thargoids. He's traveled as far as Colonia and Sagittarius A*. At the moment he's docked at Maybury Enterprise surface base in the Trianguli sector before heading out for more anti-xeno activities.

I changed from Sailor Mercury to Sailor Mars who can also use psychic powers. Yay!

Why dilute the actual tradition by doing a smaller one a month later? :/

Because it doesn't dilute the tradition as much as not doing it at all (and is wasn't supposed to be smaller).

Well it really doesn't matter now because in a few hours it will be over. I did find it nice.

This is the first time I've been here that we hadn't had a Species Change Week.

Of course, I was in limbo for 2 years so that doesn't really mean anything.

I made this thread a full week before the 2nd and I made a post when it started. What more could I've done to "alert" people this was happening?

It starts the first Sunday of May every year. You can put that on a calendar!
