Apple juice is great.
Once, I was in my cousin's house and I drank almost a gallon of apple juice... I spent a lot of time in the bathroom ">.>

Sweet tea, especially black tea, is pretty much what I have been drinking a lot since milk tea isn't available.

I love black coffee, I hate adding suger since I don't like sweet food. Suger in coffee makes me feel sick. I adore Vimto too! I love Appleade XDDD. Also non-alcholic cidre! -giggles-

I'm a huge fan of a good cup of coffee, but there are only certain types I drink black. I can drink African and Southeast Asian coffee straight, but I have to doctor South American coffee, or it just tastes nasty to me.

@Teh Brawler: Cool, I always wanted to work in a Starbucks, but I never really got the chance (T.T). Also, for me, I can drink any types of coffee straight, but I prefer those that are medium or mild, as I can get all the aftertastes and back tastes =3

And I totally agree with zeldakeeper. That's why when I'm at Starbucks or anything similar, I never order anything else apart from black coffee or espresso. My friends kept pushing me to buy the fraps, so one day I did, and I got really sick and threw up from the sugar overdose. Never again...

First off, I love apple juice! It's a (mostly) natural fruit drink that doesn't stain my teeth red/blue from food coloring and chemicals! :3

@Tiggy- seeing as how we have no idea what is tastes like, maybe you can describe it to us? Compare it to a more international soda, maybe? X3

@zeldakeeper- I love black coffee and I hate sweet food too! X3 I only add sugar (two small teaspoons, maximum) to my coffee when I don't need a punch-in-the-face wake up call from the bitterness of black coffee (or when I add creamer, which it just doesn't taste right without the sugar).

Mountain Dew is only the best soda ever. For some reason, it seems to be pretty rare in European countries.
(It tastes citrus-y.)

I only drink mild coffee when I'm looking for the caffeine kick, not the flavor. I can't even stomach medium coffees (yuck, Pike Place)

I couldn't agree more! Coffee with sugar gives me a stomach ache and cream deludes the taste, imo.

I will actually feel sleepier after drinking mild coffee, so if I want a kick, I'll go for the medium ones.
The bold ones, on the other hand, are crazy. My mum was literally cursing the Anniversary blend when I bought a mug for her, and I can't stomach the coffee myself...

I can't even find Dr. Pepper here in Malaysia, for some reason, so I have no idea about its taste.

You're missing out. Dr. Pepper is one of the finer sodas out there. :3

Cheerwine is a delicious regional soda. I wish I was in its region.

I used to drink unhealthy amounts of Dr Pepper awhile ago, it is addicting. I don't like it as much as I used to, though.

Also, I can't stand the horrible taste of Mtn Dew, unless it's livewire or pitch black.

I don't think I've ever been addicted to a "soda".

I'm a fan of root beer and ginger ale when it comes to soda. I don't dislike colas, but I don't usually go seeking them.
I find cream soda unpleasant.

There's this big craze that has been going on in Malaysia for some time now, it's called 'ice blended', though it was supposed to be pronounced 'blended ice'.

Crushed ice mixed with either fruit juices, fruit concentrates, cordials or powders. It's like a custom-made slush, made on the spot. I like to drink those when the weather here becomes annoyingly hot, as it hits just the right spot.

Mr. Pibb changed to "Pibb Xtra" years ago, but I refuse to call it that. It's Mr. Pibb.

Cream soda is really good if you get good cream soda. The cheap stuff (particularly the red/pink stuff) is pretty gross and makes my mouth hurt.

Well, there are ice-cream sodas here, does that count?
It tastes sorta like plain old soda water, mixed with vanilla ice-cream. Not bad, but not many people drink them, and they're pretty rare to begin with.

Just wondering though, does everyone in the US refer to Coke, Pepsi and such as 'soda'?

it depends on what part of the country we're from. some people call it "pop"

"Pop" is what evil people call soda. So if you hear someone call it that, they're evil.

Cream soda is a soda that tastes creamy, really. It's sweet and sometimes tastes of vanilla. It's very good.

Water's only good when it's really cold. Once it starts to get warm, it just tastes really gross to me.
