Anthro or feral?
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

I never had feral OCs before. I tend to use random feral animals for comedy.

I am a green cat! My name represents my actual persona online while the cat thing represents how I like to be viewed as online: a quick-witted gamer who also happens to be a cat.
As for choosing green fur instead of yellow (my collar is yellow since it's my favourite color) ~ When I was a kid, I use to think that there was a such thing as green cats because cats often rubbed their heads against trees to relieve itching I would assume. Naturally, I still think somewhere they exist. X3

I guess I have two fursonas.
two years ago I had a Pegasus named "crimson". A gift from a friend who was into my little pony and art.
However normally I have been using a ferret as my fursona (officially, as of sometime a few months ago).

Re: What Species Are Your Fursonas/OCs?
Definition by Merriam-Webster.
anthropomorphic:
1: described or thought of as having a human form or human attributes
2: ascribing human characteristics to nonhuman things
So technically, the moment ANYTHING is given even a single human characteristic, it can be considered anthropomorphic.
Although (at least in the pony fandom), even though all of the characters are technically anthropomorphic, the term is usually used to describe when people draw the ponies in a more humanized version.

Re: What Species Are Your Fursonas/OCs?
In the furry fandom "feral" tends to pull double duty as either a reference to intelligence level (sapient vs sentient) or to form (bipedal with human build vs quadrupedal with animal build). Here it seems to be referring to form. Since quadrupedal fursonas will be more in the form of their animal counterparts, they are labeled "feral" for classification leaving the bipedal fursonas with more human features to be classified as "anthropomorphic".

iunno about the absence of green cats in the world, but since tree bark is usually brown, maybe your theory could explain the existence of brown cats?

Re: What Species Are Your Fursonas/OCs?
I didn't draw it. I saw that many furs have used it as a ref template, so I colored it in as a kind of 'rough draft' for kicks.ArcWolf wrote:Why don't you use him as your avvie?Kitela wrote:So, this is a ref-sheet of my 'sona that I colored in when I was bored.

As long as you don't eat bats, that's fine with me. Go ahead, eat the rabbit! Unless it's Zach, Bugs Bunny, or Harrison (though Harrison is a gigantic hare, soon to appear in my fanfic). You can still eat Thumper from Bambi, because he kind of annoys me.

Eh, bats have too many small bones.
And I've decided that my fursona shall henceforth wear glasses since I've reverted back to glasses instead of contact lenses myself.

Yeah, I can't stand contacts myself - I just can't physically poke myself in the eye. Fortunately the Genii merged me with my glasses during the transformation process, so I don't even need to wear glasses anymore (as a corgi, at least). You'll have to give us a reference of what type of glasses you wear.

I'll have to get a ref sheet done that includes them. That'll have to wait until I have more funds though.
Now I just have to work out how on earth a wild quoll managed to get his paws on glasses.
