In the New Age discussion thread

Post by Silly Zealot »

As you may or may not already know, Mr. Griffin has recently resumed working on expanding a science-fiction/fantasy universe he's been working on since around 2004, named "In the New Age", or INA, for short (what's the deal with english native speakers and acronyms, anyway?!).

This thread's purpose is to discuss and share opinions on all things related to INA. For those unfamiliar with the setting, let me show to Rick's deviant art section on the topic:

And the comic he made as it's first appereance:

20th century fox? Given that this is the year 2020, that fox must be dead by now. Sadface! : (

I've been watching this project and I'm eager to see where it leads!

But dang has Rick gotten better at art in nine years. *giggles*

I was fairly certain you were actually going to link to the short comic I've started on

I'm sure the cold hand of science will be able to overcome his magical powers

Oh, sorry! Guess I was just agreeing with Sleet about how much improvement you've made over the course of a decade!

Your original 2004 comic has more stuff on it. Of course, there is also the fact that it has more than one page.

This is the first I have heard of this! I didn't know you were doing an adventure story, Rick! I want to read this so much now!

No doubt! Especially since the early dragon arts. Definitely looking forward to an RG comic done in that more refined and detailed style!
