I asked my friend a similar question.
"Dude, the world is gonna end tomorrow!"
"...Can I have your money then?"

Re: Chat Thread 39: A Heartwarming Children's Movie
I don't think I personally know anybody that's honestly worried about the world ending tomorrow at this point, so I've had a relatively low-key "final week". Also I was sick that helped. Mexico doesn't end, that's why it's called Mexicoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...

Re: Chat Thread 39: A Heartwarming Children's Movie
So, I learned it's always good to take notes, even if you have absolutely no idea what your calculus teacher is saying.
Two days ago I just basically tried to copy down what he was writing even though I had no idea what he was doing, and between the book and my notes was able to self teach myself what we were doing.
And the funny thing is, if I hadn't been trying to write everything down, I probably would have gotten it in class and not needed the notes.
And on the end of the world, I believe that it's not going to end for one simple reason. Tomorrow if Friday. We all know that when the world ends, it's going to be on a Monday. No other day of the week is evil enough for the world to end on.

In my corner of the world, it's been mostly silliness, sorry you've had a bleaker takeaway. Same; I keep a little pocket sized moleskine on me at all times. Even on days I don't use it, it's nice to know that I have it.

Re: Chat Thread 39: A Heartwarming Children's Movie
I'm just gonna noodle nabble here Good things about having notebook on me all the time. -I don't forget my stuffs, I always write things to do on it. ex: Dec 20 -guitar meeting -English Homework -PM Jeff - Find my Scarf. (ok, I lost something there) -my friend "name" owes Josh "Last name" (myself) 5 $ ... signatures. -It's a good map, I printed a map and glued it on to my notebook and I haven't got lost for a long time. -Good contact list book. -It's a good small talk starter. if there is nothing to talk about with a person that I barely know, I can pull out my Handy dandy Notebook that has cover of thinking chair, and ask him or her "Do you recognize this? Blue's Clues! ". then fire up some conversation. -good paper source, need to start a fire? have to pass down a note to someone? here's da notebook! -In case if I just die from hypothermia, Police will identify me easily with my notebook because it contains my basic personal information. so what is the point? get your self a notebook!

My friend has a little notebook he keeps on it. The random scribblings, sketches and poems in it are really bizarre, and he forgets why he did some of them after a while.

Re: Chat Thread 39: A Heartwarming Children's Movie
I have a friend that does the same thing. Sometimes doing things stream of consciousness can be your most expressive. Its not the apocalypse outside. Its something more inconvenient, it is snowing really hard outside right now. If the Mayans could predict relentless civilization annihilating disasters, then how come they didn't see the white people coming?

Diss knows that I find gingers and blondes (dirty blondes in particular) incredibly attractive.
Oh yeah. I went there.

Re: Chat Thread 39: A Heartwarming Children's Movie
I was pretty much a platinum blonde when I was young. Over the years, though, it's slowly gotten darker and darker. It's still not black like my dad's hair, but it is a fairly dark brown.
And my Celtic roots show through in my facial hair. I like to refer to myself as a ginger-beard. It sounds silly and rolls off the tongue. :P

Blue eyes could be your redeeming quality, boys. Or green, green is nice. Glasses are good too. I came to the conclusion that it's not that I don't like shy nerdy guys, I've just dated jerks. Nerdy guys FTW!
