Oh, online courses. all of mine provided notes I could refer to in order to answer the assigned questions.

My Psychology class offers notes, but my Western Civilization class doesn't.

Re: Chat Thread 39: A Heartwarming Children's Movie
I elected not to study, in favor of employing my superior analytical skills. I rarely got 100s in college, but I can count the number of grades I got that weren't at least "Bs" on one hand.

My advice is clearly that one should never study. *giggles* It worked out for me, it should work for everyone else!

Uh i've never taken an online course (unless you count computer based courses :3). Hmmm... i dunno what to tell you other than you'll have to do alot of the studying/digging on your own.

I find actually reading to be the best strategy. unfortunately I can't offer any actual advice. But I had to get in my daily snark.

Re: Chat Thread 39: A Heartwarming Children's Movie
Most of my teachers so far have used Blackboard to post their outlines or notes on.
I hate blackboard for being so unreliable and poorly-designed, though. xD

Re: Chat Thread 39: A Heartwarming Children's Movie
Most of my professors use an over head projector on the blackboard/markerboard for class lecture. It makes note taking a little-biit easier unless the teacher is trigger happy.

That's odd. It's worked with both Firefox and Chrome for me.

I guess they fixed the problem it had. I probably should have known since I submitted things through blackboard all last semester.

Something just occurred to me. Do we have a Housepets! chatroom anywhere? Like in Mibbit or something? I don't think I've ever seen one around.

yeah, there's the IRC (not a link to the IRC, just the thread about it) though if I've heard right, it's not as active as it once was.

I just like that Blackboard is online. Even if I'm not a fan of the specific software.
If you have Skype, a lot of Housepetters talk on there too.

I've seen just enough Monty Python to understand them, but for the most part, I'm just watching them be silly.

Re: Chat Thread 39: A Heartwarming Children's Movie
So, a warning to you all.
When you use superglue, be sure not to let your skin touch other skin if it gets on you. I almost glued together two of my fingers earlier today.
Fortunately, I have enough experience with superglued fingers to know how to pull them apart without ripping my skin clean off, but most of you probably don't. So be careful.
Now that daily good deed has been done in the form of a public announcement about fingers and glue, I leave before Brent comes back and tries to hit me in the head with a bottle of Anesthetic at jopencjusz's request. *Runs away very quickly*

Fortunately skin cycles in 3 weeks so unless it goes deep, there's not really anything you can do to it that won't go away.
