Although I think a simple solution is to wear rubber...uh...w-why are you looking at me like that?

Sounds sorta crazy, but I guess it makes sense. However, one does not simply remove lightning with a peace of paper. :lol:

It'slikely lighting will indeed ignore the petition.
I can only imagine what manner of retaliation the United States goverment will employ.

This is just my opinion, but I think in an ironic situation, lightning will strike whoever was in possession of the petition at that point.

How about instead of banning it, we just prohibit it from striking people, the ground and everything on it, and aircraft.

What about sprites, blue jets, and ELVES? Those are cool forms of lightning that don't hurt anyone... not gliding 50+ km above the storm.
