I remember hearing on a nature show (some years ago when animal planet was all I watched) that venom is only harmful when it goes directly into your blood. They said that it could be digested and not affect you... or something like that.

That actually sounds like it would make sense if the venom is a protein. Similar to why insulin has to be injected, it gets broken down in your mouth and stomach and loses its effect.

That's gotta be one of the strangest things I've heard someone make and eat.
Makes my grilled peanut butter-jalepeno-bacon sandwich sound rather normal.

Whaaaaaaaaahahaht?! That sounds just.. just normal! Actually I can see Jalepeno and Bacon being a good combination of food choices. But but, why Peanut butter+jalepeno+Bacon? Why? They just don't fit together. And why grill em?
Tho I should try it out. It sounds tempting

I have to eat rice at least once in a day, or else I get sick. Only Sanvich and Southern breakfast can replace rice.

Well, it was late, I was tired and very hungry. There wasn't much in the fridge besides leftover bacon and peanut butter, the jalepeno was thrown in because... why not?
Also, I prefer my sandwiches warm and crispy :)

That actually sounds amazing. I don't know what the peanut butter would do for it but it's certainly worth a try.

I'm not a fan of peanut butter (it's just the texture when alone, I love the taste), but if we can substitute that with cheese and add a warm slice of tomato, my God, that'd be a tasty sandwich.

I was experiencing some late night hunger last night myself. I began preheating the oven to make a mini-pizza, forgetting there were pans still in the oven. I turned the oven off, rage-quit the day, and went to bed munching on dill pickle potato chips. ^_^;

I don't get the reference!!!!

I'm alive simply because I have nine lives. and now I only have six...

It's completly safe, it's a eastern Asian rigional food. They eat jelly fish. Just like how Japaneses like to eat blow fishes (Mrs.Pop) but more safer.that does not mean you can just eat a raw jelly fish!

How does it tastes like? Ummmm eh.. sour pineapple jelly dipped in to glass of coke and vinegar.

Here's a question for everyone, I like eggs and bacon for breakfast, and I'm thinking of having that now, but I want a really nice sauce to go with them. I really want hollandaise but I can't be bothered making it, and I have to go 'round the corner to get the eggs and bacon anyway, so what would you guys have that isn't tomato or barbecue?

hot sauce perhaps? Sorry Nyaliva, I'm kind of a guy who puts ketchup on ketchup.

Your Favourite Candy?

Mine is Oh!Henry. and I don't llike mars, I don't like that crunchy part.

You can get bags of Reese's peanut butter chips. Just mix a bag of those into some brownie batter.

Reese's is my least favorite peanut butter cup. Usually the "mainstream" version of a candy is in the middle for me. Not Reese's.

That said, it's still a peanut butter cup, and is therefore still delicious.

Wow Kitsune, I'd completely forgotten about those. I must have last had one about 10 years ago. They used to be all the rage at the local fish and chip shop! I havn't seen them since :(

I have to ask, what is it about meatloaf that makes it a joke in some American shows and cartoons that I've watched in the past. I mean, I like the idea behind it, and it's a pretty efficient way to have a fulfilling meal =w=

Fried tapioca slices, with a dipping made from soy sauce, kaffir lime juice and lots and lots of bird's eye chili. Had it yesterday ^^

I had my first Squeezeburger today. What's a Squeezeburger?

It's a cheeseburger with 1/2 pound of shredded cheddar on it. Yes, you read that right. Half a pound.
The melted cheese forms a skirt around the burger as it cooks. If you're not into well cooked, slightly crunchy cheese, this burger's not for you.
It's not my thing, especially, but I had to try it.
I found out about the Squeezeburger on "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives."

The Squeeze Inn is a small chain of burger joints in Northern California's Central Valley.

I get the cheese to do that whenever I make a grilled cheese sandwich, and I don't need a half a pound of it.

I'd give it a try.

Probably gain 15 pounds just from looking at it and not want to eat it again once I was done (If I was able to finish it that is), but I'll always at least try it before saying I don't like it.
