Americans! How was Tom Hanksgiving?

Post by Sleet »

Mine was pretty good. For the first time in years we had a big(ish) crowd for dinner. It was me, my mom, my grandma, and my sister, but now we also had my brother-in-law, his sister, her husband, and their two kids. It's nice having young'ns in the family again. The previous youngest is going to college next year!

We don't really celebrate it since our American relatives like to be distant, yet I was still bombarded by pictures of a turkey with Tom Hanks face. :?

Mine was pretty good. I was at my great grandparents' house to eat as I do every year. I don't like turkey, so I ate some ham, some macaroni and cheese, and a roll instead.

Lions beat the Packers and the food was great, couldn't have been any better.

You thank Tom Hanks for all those great movies in the 90's and being the best guest on Conan.

It was great, I had half a turkey, three pork chops, four scoops each of sweet potato and green bean casserole, more mashed potatoes than necessary, and enough gravy to cover it all. Then for dessert I ate two slices of cheesecake, a slice of pecan pie, and far too many cookies.

ps. I'm not fat

pps. I think I need help

And I even forgot to mention the half a bowl of trifle I ate...

Also, I can't find a good avatar of the other Daryl (though I probably won't change as I like this Daryl better)
