Blame biology.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Speaking of Lion King, Kovu was gonna be Scar's son at first, until they realized that it would make Kiara and Kovu incestuous. Kovu being Scar's son meant that he would be Mufasa's nephew and Simba's first cousin and Kiara and Kovu first cousins once removed. So they made him the son of an unknown lion that his mother Zira was with before she got with Scar. Nuka and Vitani are Kovu's half-brother and half-sister and Kiara's first cousins once removed. If Kiara and Kovu were to have a child, it would be the first cousin twice removed and the niece/nephew of Vitani and Nuka.

Taka is swahili for dirt (or trash, I've seen a couple translations). Makes sense why he changed his name.

I'd say the name works, actually! He's African and he's scummy. Seems fair.

The first product Motorola started to develop was a record player for automobiles. At that time, the most known player on the market was Victrola, so they called themselves Motorola.

Arctic foxes can sense the magnetic field of the earth and we use it for surgical, deadly strikes to unaware prey.

Other foxes also have this unique ability. Of course it only works if they're facing northeast or southwest (with around a 60 - 75% success rate), otherwise their odds of success drop drastically (<20%)

Blacksmithing takes a lot of stamina. Also, everything smells and tastes like coal after using a coal-fired forge, even hours a day afterward.

Everyone already knows that. And it's hardly useless, it's one of the most useful things to know out there! ^_^

The little black specks in bananas are seeds. They've been bred to be so tiny they can't be noticed. They also don't even work anymore.

There's a lot neat useless fox facts.
Red fox's take off at a 40 degree angle when pouncing on their prey. Similarly, 45 degrees is the optimal angle that's necessary for a missile to travel the greatest distance when launched.

Fox's can physics pretty well.

Speaking of, humans can also (subconsciously) sense the magnetic field of the Earth. We've got slightly magnetic bones in our nose and some field-detecting function in our eyes. But magnetoception in humans is nowhere near developed and researchers are still researching.

The first private detective agency was established in 1833 by Eugene Francois Vidocq, a former fugitive. He used his extensive knowledge of the Parisian underworld to become a master criminologist. Vidocq was a pioneer in the use of surveillance and disguise, ballistics, card-index record keeping, and was the first to use plaster-of-paris to take impressions of shoe prints.

Well, unless you count the two ancestors of all modern 'seedless' bananas cultivars, Musa acuminata and Musa balbisiana. Both of these old banana species have large seeds about the size of a BB, hence making it almost inedible because of how hard the seed are. The hybrid between the two serves as the basis for the 'seedless' bananas we have today.

Both acuminata and balbiasa are still available in the jungles of South and South East Asia, where they grow wild, and usually eaten by monkeys. My mum, who lived in a village near a jungle, used to climb up one of these trees every morning and eat these bananas. She told me that you could actually collect and spit out the seeds like you would watermelon seeds. Weird stuff =w=
