I've totally put together an ebook, guys. It's sci-fi, it's got anthro robots, I think it's pretty cool. It doesn't have anything to do with Housepets, but I am selling it.

You can buy it for the low low price of $1.29 in ANY ebook format, PDF or just online, at Smashwords right here: http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/70010 . You can also preview the first half of the story to see if you want to buy.

Also, selling soon on Amazon, but you can get the Kindle version at Smashwords too, and I get a larger royalty, so you know.

I've never read one of your stories, so I assume now's as good a time to start as any.

I skimmed the preview, and it looks interesting, to say the least. Maybe I'll see if one of those old Visa gift cards I have still works...

This actually looks really good from what I read so far in the preview. Im'a gonna buy it! I also can't wait for the Housepets! book to be released... Ill be buying that as soon as I see it released. You get more royalties from Smashwords than Amazon, correct? Just debating where would be better to buy , I would rather you get more money in royalties... always a good thing to have some extra cash hanging around.

It's something of a conundrum; I get more royalties from Smashwords, but if I make more sales on Amazon I go up their sales list and attract more views.

Having both sites to put the book up is fine, though I'd personally have stuck with Amazon - with a majority of book sales being from there, the amount of people that use Amazon may edge out the benefits of Smashwords' extra royalties. I have no idea if that'd be the case for this circumstance though; I can't be bothered to do mathematics right now. It kinda just depends on whether which one gets more sales, and whether Amazon's sales end up greater royalty-wise than Smashwords'.

Also, if you care for the timing of the royalties you get - I believe Smashwords pays quarterly, while Amazon pays monthly.

Well, Smashwords gets me into OTHER bookstores, like B&N and the Apple bookstore. However I have to wait, apparently, to get the free ISBN because Smashwords is temporarily out of those.

Hmmm... Ill buy it from Smashwords, since its the best reward for right now... After I buy it, Ill leave a good review on Amazon, so that its a positive for both situations. Since you dont need to buy it from Amazon to leave a positive review there, It will give it some backing power with reviews as well. Although, you know what, its not expensive at all! It wouldn't kill me in any way, shape, or form to buy it from both places! I can buy the kindle version from Amazon, then ill buy the a regular copy for reading at home on my computer from Smashwords.

There's no DRM! There's nothing preventing him from getting it himself!

She said the plotline was overused and that there "was no need for the androids to be animals"

Yeah, like she knows anything -_-

But for not getting all p'd off about it, I'd say she liked It.

Oh I know what she means, justified =! necessary. But I wanted it like that!

As for the plotline being overused . . . well, how many plots are there for the story I wanted to tell? I never actually read Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep so I don't know what ground I've already covered or not.

Just purchased the book like half an hour ago, and had just finished reading the book.

Actually, I was a bit hesitant about buying the book, since I'm not really fond of stories revolving around robots and androids.
But, I really like your take into the genre.

All I can say is, that was RM5.00 well spent =3

I think she means the overall plotline, such as "person/android/being/alien studies/watches/is intrigued by person/android/being/alien and then he/she/it (insert final surprise part you used)
