Verizon gets the iPhone 4 and iPhone 3G on February 10th, if you don't already know.

Seriously. The problem is, neither network has unlimited data plans anymore, so there's no real benefit to switching aside from cell service.yoyodude wrote:'Bout time

Re: If your an iPhone user, are you switching to Verizon?
@THD- Wait, what? I have a Verizon Samsung Reality and the unlimited data plan is $20. Is it not possible to get that same plan for the iPhone?
@FarmMan- 'Round here, AT&T has the better signal.
@Elliot- Sprint makes amazing phones, but I'm not quite so sure about their service (because I don't pay that much attention to my friends' phones' signals).
*Leaves to find out how costly it would be to obtain and own an iPhone every month.* =D

Re: If your an iPhone user, are you switching to Verizon?
Please correctme if I'm wrong. But they only have Verizon and AT&T as telecommunications provider?

Mobile phone service providers. Examples: Alltel, Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint

Sooo... companies like Boost and Vonage don't provide their own service?Dissension wrote:Mobile phone service providers. Examples: Alltel, Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint

Re: If your an iPhone user, are you switching to Verizon?
Alex, I still don't understan your question.
Or did Diss answer it?
@FarmMan- Boost and Vonage provide their own services, Dissension just hit the major ones.
Verizon (who bought the company Alltel) and AT&T and Sprint (which of these two bought out Nextell?) are the three major cell phone carriers in America. It's very rare that someone doesn't have Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint; but it DOES happen.

Re: If your an iPhone user, are you switching to Verizon?
My contract with AT&T doesn't expire until September anyway, so I don't have to think about this for quite a while. And when the contract DOES run out, I probably will switch to Verizon.

Re: If your an iPhone user, are you switching to Verizon?
There are a lot of cell phone companies that are offering unlimited everything for $50, actually. I know Verizon offers it, and I think Tracphones and AT&T offer the same deal.FarmMan1812 wrote:Probably b/c of their $50 a month thingy for unlimited minutes, internet, and texing.Tha Housedog wrote:Sprint bought Nextel a few years back. Re: If your an iPhone user, are you switching to Verizon?
This has probably been pointed out already, but AT&T is GSM and Verizon is CDMA. You'd have to get a new iPhone for it to work.
Or you could just switch to Android, which is better than the iPhone will ever be.

Oh my god are you serious.

there is no such thing as luck. if there was, there would surely be at least one person with all of it, and nothing bad would happen to them ever. but as far as I can tell, bad things happen to everyone.

Re: If your an iPhone user, are you switching to Verizon?
T_T My Verizon may not have the best signal, but at least I can sign up for a flat rate that's fairly cheap.Tha Housedog wrote:AT&T doesn't offer unlimited data anymore...and on an iPhone, that's really expensive.Beagle wrote:There are a lot of cell phone companies that are offering unlimited everything for $50, actually. I think I'd have an extremely hard adjustment period if I went back to my old flip phone with no/slow text or mobile web.
