I'm telling you, hyenas ARE canines too! Many biologists died to bring us this information! Why won't you honor their deaths?! What I did to their families?!

Well, one of them :P I discovered this comic at the biginning of the new year and it is AWESOME!

I've discovered it some nights ago, and I agree, it's a really awesome, cool and funny comic! Love the draws style. New favorite of mine to follow. :) I've seen that you're there, so I've thought that you'd already reported it here. ;)

I was going to recommend Acursed dragon as well. It became one of my top 5 favorite webcomics

As far as pseudo-dramatic fantasy parodies go, I recomend Legend of Bill.

Poppy O'Possum!

A charming, gloriously witty comic about a single oppossum mom and her struggles.

I have just discovered "Hyperbole and a Half" for the first time.

I know that it has been used as a meme and some random strips are posted on tumblr, but I had no idea what it was. I found a copy of the book at my local book shop and read it.

I was crying copiously about 10 pages in. I could relate to all the angst, sadness and regrets. But it was comforting to know that there is someone in this world that thinks sort of like how I do and has the same mental problems as me.

I found a comic called "Three" published my Image Comics. It is kind of a slap in the face to Frank Miller's "300". It is about three Helots that seek freedom by escaping their Spartan masters. Sort of a human "Watership Down". It shows just how brutal and oppressive the Spartans could be as opposed to Miller's idealizing of them.

I am almost caught up on "'68" after my comic shop mysteriously stopped ordering it for me and then never bothered to try and re order them. "Scars" picked up right where "Better Run Through The Jungle" left up with Yam escaping from the top of the embassy and ending up in a hospital whose patients had all but been abandoned. "Jungle Jim" was visceral because the main character was so war shocked he had a hard time dealing with hallucinations.
