apparently there are some Android apps that are collecting webcomics, including Housepets, without permission from the authors. figured I should mention it here. source

Another comic I would like to suggest is "Paradigm Shift" a webcomic about a police officer who has her life turned around when she becomes a werewolf.

The Furry Expreince is the only other one I have been following closely. It's pretty much all about anthropomorphic characters going to college. WARNING: This comic makes fun of Mormons. A lot. You have been warned.

I was raised in a Mormon/catholic background (grandparents at least) and I think South Park is usually hilarious. That comic Anthroguy posted seems interesting, I might read it sometime.

Just recently added Faux Pas to my top 3 favourite comics. Second Place with HousePets! being number one <3

It's a very nice comic. Mostly light-hearted comic with alot of cute ideas that are smimilar to Housepets and farm animals. if anything, it's like a farm version of Housepets i find.

I used to read Faux Pas more diligently, but honestly I've found the humor too flat. The art is very professional though.

Humor is certainly slow in my opinion, but the story and art are ok.

Also, i can't believe this has been around since 1996 if i'm reading their archive correctly...

Try "Freefall". It has been around since 1998 and story wise, only a few days have passed!

Housepets is the only webcomic I actually read, but I have gotten into the new Green Lantern comics. Well, I prefer Green Lantern Corps with John Stewart (Yes, like the Daily Show host) and Guy Gardener since they are awesome and I grew up with John Stewart (the black Green Lantern). However, Green Lantern, which follows Hal Jordan is very good also, but I have no idea why. He isn't complex, he isn't interesting, and he is just boooooring, but I like him and so do a lot of fans I know.

Also, what Lantern Corps do you guys like the most? Yes this includes the Star Sapphires and the Indigo Tribe. Mine is a tie between the White Lantern Corps, and the Blue Lantern Corps. I like the White Lanterns because in Blackest Night, the necromancers known as the Black Lanterns force rings onto every DC hero and villain making them obedient super zombies, powered by the white light of life, when they all have White Lantern rings they are able to beat back the army of Black Lanterns powered by death, in short, they beat the greatest threat to the universe. I really don't know why I like the Blue Lanterns, I just like the idea that your hope can be the thing that helps you to win, but you still have to do it yourself.

It's all about the Green lanterns dude, I kind of like the red lanterns too.
I think Hal Jordan is my favorite G.L. but I agree he isn't a terribly complex character.

Wow. That was traumatic. After going through half an archive on almost all major furry webcomics, it is safe to say that Housepets is probably the only decent furry webcomic...
... They all start decent with slight potential to improve but at the end it is (filtered into PG language) utter crap.
They take themselves way too seriously. I can't even give reasons to why they are bad because I would cross the rating of this forum. >_<
OK, to be honest I've only read I think 6? now. I felt like it was enough to make a generalization.

Another webcomic I want to plug real quick is "Twisted Kaiju Theater". Its about the life of film star/giant monster Godzilla in his day to day life. Its a very amusing comic done with photoshop of the greatest Godzilla toy collection that I have ever seen!

Hehe, I think it would fit well in a newspaper as a strip. It's cute, funny, and the humor isn't overplayed. I'll have to keep an eye out. XD

Another comic I think is worth mentioning is Shawntea Howard's comic "Extinctioners". It is one of the comic books that helped introduced me to the anthropomorphic genre. The best way to describe it is a furry version of X-Men, but it is so much more than that. It is very well drawn and written.

So after sacrificing a small part of my soul, I found a comic that is...extensive. Scifi, not the best drawn but it doesn't need to be apparently. Schlock Mercenary

A wikipedia page that might be useful.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_furry_comics

I found some interesting comics recently. An awesome werewolf comic called "Extinct", a collection of Dark Horse Comics' "Godzilla" and another horror comic called "Fiends of the Eastern Front" about vampires in Russia during the Second World War. It cover some of the same ground as "30 Days of Night: Red Snow".

Interesting. I read Tiger Knight and it was hilarious....this is why you avoid dorms after Freshman term if possible... But I'm still not a huge fan of furry comics really. They have to be funny and I like roomies, even if it is pretty short so far.

Always been a fan of a wide assortment of Dark Horse comics, but I'll try out Fiends and Extinct. They sound interesting at least.

Definitely give them a try! They were well worth it! Excellent horror comics!

Check out the extra stuff on "The Roomies". It has the old strips from the canceled first attempt. The author said he wrote himself into a corner and decided to try again.

I would have to say Housepets! But, if that doesn't count since we're on the forums for it right now, then I would have to say "A Redtail's Dream." It has nice art direction and the story is pretty nifty. http://www.minnasundberg.fi/index.htm

I really like this one. I've read the volumes 1 and 2 of the actual story (not the prelude) and they're good. But I don't like that the artists are taking SO long to release the volume 3 and are also updating two pages of prelude per month.

UGGGH I know right? It was bad enough I had to wait to buy volume 2 since my bank was being ridiculous...but now it's taking forever Q.Q I...it's like waiting for Inheritance all over again. Even that was painful enough.

100+ pages graphic novels take their time. I, personally, am grateful they didn't just drop Prelude to cut time.

Throwing that in: Grandville by Bryan Talbot.

Nah, overrated. Plus I read online that if you read it too much your face implodes. I don't wanna implode!

Still to the comment about the prelude. Heck yes I'm glad that still comes out....so many things I want to know Q.Q

I have mentioned it before at other threads but "Twisted Kaiju Theater" is worth mentioning.

http://neomonsterisland.com/

For the most part it is a parody of the Godzilla franchise with his day to day life as a movie star and defender of the earth. It also has some pretty epic story arcs.

I can't wait for this to come out:
