i should update – 8189 now, but should be up even more come getting the katamari damashii soundtracks, and as soon as i get a bloody computer with a working disk drive (tentative delivery date is feb 5th ! ! !) i'll be able to finally deal with a bunch of CDs i own but haven't been able to put on my computer

If you mean music on your computer? I would not really count OSU since it is a game so I have a total of 0. I use Youtube.

that's a point – that is music saved on your computer, after all, and more often than not it's in a format you can easily convert into mp3 or something similarly lossy that any old music player will play. i guess if i counted my files from stepmania and osu that would be closer to or above 10000 but unless i did actually go through and individually count it and remove repeats etc. it's not really a reliable figure for me.

I have two CD's I got for Christmas, that's it.

I end up listening to all of my music on Youtube.
