This past weekend, I was babysitting, one was 7 and the other 11; both boys. We were in the backyard playing soccer and all of a sudden they accidentally ran into one another. The 11 year old thought that his brother did that on purpose to he hit him. I sent him to his room. Later on, I went up there doing the whole, "What did you learn from this," kinda thing and he didn't grasp the concept that it's not okay to hit people. He told me that he was bored and that he wanted to watch TV *troll mode activated* I got the laptop and turned on the Canterlot Wedding and said, "Watch this." I came back 40 minutes later, and he asked me if he could watch another one. So i created an 11 year old Brony that day.

I thought to me self...

It has always been DR whooves, but I guess it now means Hasbro has a green light from the BBC to be allowed to use it.

I think Hasbro can't use Doctor Whooves for copyright reasons, which is why they dropped the W.

Ok so Dungeon and Dragons Online has released the new raid weapons named after characters in MLP:FiM. Known so far are Nightmare, the Fallen Moon a Longsword (when I first saw this I though it was just a coincidence, and not even a weird one) Celestia, Brightest Star of The Day a Short Sword (ok a little suspicious but still could be just a freak coincidence) and Twilight, Element of Magic a Quarter Staff (Yep naming it after ponies) There is rumors that there is Bow named after Rainbow Dash as well.

So anyone who plays that game (I do not, saw screen shots on 4chan) and likes FiM should be on the look out for them.

So do you guys think the comics will end up being canon to the show or the first official AU? And if they do well enough the FiM universe will last after the show is over with, this is a very very good thing. So everyone should find their nearest comic book shop and buy them when they come out.

I think they will be canon. Especially towards new characters.

I'd imagine it would be canon. I haven't read through the article yet, but it seems like a good opportunity to sort of fill in the gaps that the show might not touch (as each do not follow one after the other, there's a lot of empty space between episodes). A bit of an "in-between" to read on the side, as a compliment to the show.

As long as they keep consistent with happenings in the show, I'll be happy. I would rather they not make a comic at all than to make a comic that contradicts the show or adds elements to it that aren't also consistent with the show's universe.
