I made a second character! ... Before even introducing the first! Probably the best time to do so I guess, since it eliminates the whole time-space-defying reason for another character to suddenly appear in his house, but still. Oh yeah, and this time I'm not half-asleep! Not too noticeable a difference, but the main thing being that I don't need spell check for every. Other. Word.

Name: Dahlia Deckard

Species: Dog, Whippet

Age: 16 (about 4.5 human years)

Gang: None

-Appearance-
Her fur is almost totally white, save for three black areas: two that separately color the space around her eyes and each of her ears, and the third at the tip of her tail. She wears a loose hanging purple scarf, no matter the weather. It usually covers her collar, which is red with an exclamation-point shaped tag.

-Personality-
Dahlia is slightly pessimistic, and not one to hope for miracles. She prefers the hands-on approach to life when possible; if only because it means she doesn't give someone else the chance to make mistakes on her behalf. She seems at first impression very serious, but usually loosens up after adjusting to her surroundings. Having grown up more 'normally' herself, Dahlia is easily the wiser between her and Seb, and tries to watch out for him to that end. As such, she views him as somewhere between a brother and a nuisance. She tends to have blunt opinions, and isn't afraid to share them, but usually has good intentions in doing so.

-Other Notes-
Dahlia is essentially a niece to the Cantor family. That is, she stays with them until(*Cough*if*Cough*) her own mom, Mrs.Cantor's sister, comes back. ... It's been about a year, so far.
She's also particularly fond of flowers. She actually tends her own small garden-- though she keeps it hidden in the first place, afraid of it being ruined or disturbed.

-SPECIAL-

Strength- 3

Perception- 4

Endurance- 3

Charisma- 7

Intelligence- 9

Agility- 9

Luck- 7

Edit: re-re-adjusted for age calculations. xD

After a little bit of effort Pyxis finally rips the duct tape from him taking fur off but fortunately not leaving a spot where there isn't any fur at all. He reflexively hisses and kicks the roll of duct tape on the floor next to him. Unfortunately there is a moderate length of tape sticking out from it. The result as he kicks it is that the one part sticks to the bottom of his foot while the roll tries to fly away, the sudden change of momentum making the path of least resistance a different direction. It ends up with duct tape wrapped around Djinn's foot with the roll underneath his foot. "****!!! STUPID MOTHER ******* STUFF! GET OFF OF MY **** FOOT YOU STUPID PIECE OF ****!" He begins stomping around in anger furious with the events.
You know, I get the vague feeling that someone asked Djinn to post that just to get the point of fully censoring you own words across…Purpose is served if that’s true.

If everyone agrees, the idea is it just happens, and everyone posts their little recap after it. Or at least, that's how it seems to have been done in the past.

Here's an example of something that could be done to indicate the passage of time. In theory every user would do this for their characters. I improvised the example, sorry to Zack for using him~

Example wrote:Zack woke up, yawning and rubbing his eyes. It was still a little dark, so he idly wondered what time it was, and why he had woken up so early - though to be fair he had been going to bed earlier in order to forget about his thoughts. He glanced outside just in time to witness the sun break the horizon. It was beautiful. Obviously he had not slept so well the night before, as his mind had been replaying the scene with Honey and Vanilla repeatedly. It had been a few days since the party, yet his thoughts had never once left Vanilla - Honey was there only by association, but to a degree, he thought about her as well. He'd stayed inside almost the entire time, mulling over it, despite trying very hard not to. Unfortunately, his thoughts were once again brought back to the party. He sighed deeply and began to . . .

But I agree he shouldn't have posted his two posts yet, should wait until the time warp's over.
Also, you should have said that in the OOC, not have an entirely OOC post in the IC... But whatever, I'm not Buck.

I'm for that, if everyone does agree.

EDIT: Game, is it okay for me to assume that Wonder's parents called Mr. Cake then?

I mean, I don't know if you want that happening tonight or tomorrow (game-wise), but I'd imagine they'd want to do that as soon as possible.

EDIT AGAIN: I love how everyone's blaming Vanilla for what happened when she was just minding her own business and it was ZACK who started talking to her and it was ZACK who lost his temper with her just because she said "perhaps another time" to his invitation to play chess, and it was ZACK's behavior that prompted HONEY to decide that she and Vanilla were leaving.

Yeah, that's all Vanilla's fault, right? :| Seriously, what did she do other than show up, and not take Zack up on his offer just at that moment?

It does seem like everyone's blaming Vanilla. Poor doggie...

On another note, I say we time-skip about a few days to a week. Any objections?

Thank you for saying that. :)

As for how long to timeskip, The Game had Wonder's parents wanting to call Mr. Cake, so if we timeskip more than the next day I'd imagine we'd have to simply imagine that conversation already happened, rather than show it.

Peer pressure, perhaps? I just honestly don't understand why Vanilla was being treated that way by Zappa and Zack, and why everyone was acting like it was her fault. That's like saying, "Okay, so maybe you got beat up and left for dead. But dressing like that? You were kind of asking for it, you know?"

Anyway, no hard feelings, I'm just bamboozled at why everyone's acting that way (more the characters than the actual players). I don't want apologies or anything like that, but an explanation would be nice.... :|

[/whining]

And I'd like to know where everyone stands on the time shift as well--I really want to post again soon but so far I can't, not without repeating myself somewhat. I mean, there is something I could do but it'd only delay the timeskip even more, and I don't want to do that.

EDIT: Yes, let's.

BUt one question, where the heck is Jack and Athlon?? We kinda need them if we wanna end the day.
And by peer pressure do you mean that Vanilla will relax and become friends with either Winter and/or Liz?

We do need them, yeah.

No...I mean everyone jumping on the "let's blame Vanilla" wagon....

I would like to see Vanilla relax and make friends with someone, but Liz is probably not her type. Winter I don't know, I don't think they've really met properly. Possibly?

Personality: Very shy about meeting new people, and most other animals are scared of him for some reason. Though this fierce looking dog always has a smile on his face, and is almost always happy, unless of coarse you make him mad. and trust me, you don't want to do that.
Species: A dog, obviously (Alaskan malamute)
Age: 18 = 2½ years
Neighborhood: Radiant Gardens
Gang: No current gang, but has been looking to join one.
Other Notes:
None much, except that his dad is currently in Greenland for research while his mom stays at home.
The only thing he is afraid of, is squirrels. He will run like crazy if he sees one. Mostly caused by when he was attacked by one when he was just a little over a month old.

It's okay. But word of advice from a fellow newbie--in this particular RPG there are two settings, and I chose Radiant Gardens because there were more openings (and it was shorter anyway). I honestly don't know if Richardson Valley has any openings at this time but even if it does, I THINK Radiant Gardens has more--and you were invited to that.

Fair warning, though--we're about to do a time skip in Radiant Gardens.

I think we have Bixlow, Zander, and Axl9333
How many are in Richardson Valley

P.S. I know that the rules say only 2 characters, but would it be possible to have a third character? I have seen some people have three characters. I have a lot of experience roleplaying and I know I can handle it. I'm simply asking so please don't be too harsh with the response if the answer is no.

First off, 17 players, two over the limit. RV is not accepting anymore players, period until we go back bellow 15.
And I'm sorry, but you are only allowed two characters. Many of the "third characters" listed in RG are minor characters, as far as I know. I still haven't gotten all the way through RG. I'm about halfway. I'd hope a third main character wasn't slipped under my nose...You can still allow guest characters though. (and I need to update a rule on that.)

In RV, those with 3 characters had three before the rule was enacted, so it wouldn't be fair to them to take away their characters, so they stay.

With 15 players, that can be a total of 30 pets to keep track of. That's 30 characters you need to read about; write about, and 28 of them you won't have control over. The reason why there are two neighborhoods is because of "overpopulation," or so many posts to read that it drives you insane. Some people in RV have trouble keeping up as it is.
