Fantasy Chat Thread!!

Hello! Welcome to Fantasy Island uh... Chat! This is a place where you can try out your new characters, chat amongst yourselves, your existing characters, or just have a little fun with each other! Think of it as a coffee shop in its own void in space, where you can stop in, have a good time, meet new people, and leave. Basically, where the regular chat thread doesn't allow Roleplaying, you can do so here.. Well, I guess I have to put some actual rules up, huh? Oh well, here they are:
- Although this is a Roleplaying Chat Thread, there is no OOC for it. I do not wish for long arcs or chapters to be a part of it. This is supposed to be spontaneous and fun, rather than structured. Long-form RPing is allowed, just in a stunted form. Try not to let anything long-form go on for more than a page or two. And be sure to make it all-inclusive, so that others may drop in and out if need be. Please try not to make your posts simply Roleplaying actions only, as this is a Chat Thread and requires some actual chatting. It's also suggested that roleplaying actions be conducive to the conversation at hand, though as a Chat Thread, the topic may change at any moment.
- Please do not discuss the thread itself. This includes posting about when the last post was or if you think the current topic of discussion is boring. If you find the conversation boring, then offer up a new topic! The point of this thread is to offer up a place where any rule-appropriate topic can be discussed, and someone else is bound to carry on a conversation with you. Please do not discuss the thread as a whole and what has been happening. This tends to result in a feedback loop, and will cause the thread to implode upon itself. If you really want to know what's been happening, just check the last page or so. Thank you for understanding, and please do not use this info in your plans for Forum Domination... that is, unless bacon is involved.
- Show some respect to the other forumites. Privacy is a major concern, as these boards are public and if you give away any information about yourself or others, it is accessible not just by other forumites but also by guests. Be sure to bear in mind the privacy of yourself and others.
- No one word or single image responses. Oh come on. Some rules from the regular chat thread need to apply.
- Any subject is pretty much allowed in here as long as you keep within forum rating and follow the forum rules. I know how hard it is to tip toe around subjects that have dedicated threads already. Just don't make this a thread about a certain subject. Gaming, movies, all of that is allowed, but don't let it go more than a page or two. Don't let one subject take over this thread.
- Don't make this a secondary OOC thread. There's a reason they exist. You can discuss other RP threads, but no planning future arcs of said roleplays. As I said before, you can test possible characters out here. This can be a fun place to test your characters' interactions and personalities. This also includes having two characters from different RPs meeting here and having a good ol' time, so long as it has nothing to do with actual RP timelines or events.
- While having multiple characters is okay, it's not acceptable to have conversations with yourself. You're not a ventriloquist, and even if you think you are, someone has to be the dummy.
- As always, follow the Forum Rules. Did I even need to put that down?
