Being around the Police Office was getting kinda nerve wrecking and was glad to begin walking away from it's presence. It was quite a quiet walk as neither Flint nor the bear were in a talking mood. Both trailed off in thought of near the same subject. They came to a splitting path, and due to not really having payed attention, Flint had no idea which way to go, straight or turn. Flint turned around, walking backwards and asked the bear "Which way do we go?"

"Straight ahead.", Salvatore replied as he noticed the familiar route. "Then turn left at the brick house at the end of this path. That should lead straight to the steps at the base of the hill." the bear informed as he looked around. "So anyone got plans after lunch?", he suddenly asked.

Flint turned back around and crossed the street with the sight of no Metal Monsters. It never crossed his mind of what he were to do once their meal was over, he just thought about how great it was to be able to eat more for once. "I honestly did not think about that part......umm, we could.....read books?" Flint suggested. He really does not have much experience with what pass times groups would enjoy, but it was his favorite and near to only one he knew of.

"Oho!", Salvatore immediately exclaimed, "I sense a mind in pursuit of knowledge.", he joked, quickly laughing at it after delivery. "Sorry about that.", he apologized a few moments later, "And sorry again, but I only have books on politics and management at home aside from a few historic fiction novels.", he informed Flint while he thought of all the titles he had at home. "Maybe a visit to the library then? Their selection is massive considering it's in a remote town like Verde. I believe you maybe able to find more books to your liking there."

Mina shook her head, "I don't have plans after lunch. But, if you don't mind, I won't join you at the library. Reading is not really my thing." She said.

"We don't need to if you don't wish to, it was only a suggestion. Besides, I already have a book, so please, no need." Flint stated, stopping for a bit to let Salvatore pass and lead instead, as he sure did not wish to. "If anyone else has any suggestions?" He asked, though actually a bit wanting to go through with the first idea since the fox said she'd leave if they did. But Flint already had a book, and also did not want to enter the building from the front door. Ever.

Salvatore pondered for a while, strolling around town would not be something the two might enjoy so he quickly slashed it out of his choices. He thought a bit more, noting the effort he needed to find something that could be commonly interesting to the three of them, a old generation, a new generation and a foreigner...

"How about fishing?", he suddenly asked after being silent all the way to the bottom of the hill where the stairs leading up to his home started. "It's relaxing and rewarding, and the carp are quite plump during this time too.", he said in attempt to interest the two other parties in his conversation.

"Fishing?" Flint thought for a while. "But I can't swim." He said. (He thought it meant to swim like a fish.)

Sorry, short post.

Salvatore laughed when he heard Flint say that, he knew somewhat what the squirrel had though fishing was and he quickly stopped laughing and turned to him. "No Flint, not Fishing as in becoming a fish. Fishing is an activity where you put a bait in a hook, throw it into the water then you wait until a fish takes the bait and gets hooked and you pull it out of the water.", he explained. "And probably the only time we would get wet is when we hold the fish. It's just a relaxing activity for the patient."

Flint pondered a bit and laughed to himself when he heard how very wrong he was, but something of which was said concerned him. "Wait....but I thought fish did not like being out of water, will we return them to their homes?" He really did not wish to hurt any wild creature as he himself is one. "Please tell me we will......" Flint added, getting concerned of the intentions of this mentioned pass-time.

Salvatore's fur shuffled with a sudden winterly breeze. He was unfazed by it but he suddenly had a more serious look on his face. "Flint... I'm sorry to say but fishing is another mover of the cycle of life... And I'm sure you know how it works and why it's there."

Mina nodded, "Salvatore is right. Although, Sal, Flint is a squirrel. And I thought that squirrels weren't too fond of eating meat?" She asked. She knew the answer, but she said it to remind him of present company's dietary habits.

"I guess you're right." Salvatore chuckled as he started to turn to Flint. "However, I'm sure he would enjoy the experience." he said with conviction. The bear was about to say something else when a series of light footsteps dashed through the snowbanks. Out popped a white snowshoe hare from the west. It flew gracefully in the air, eclipsing the sun for a moment during its flight. It landed gently just in front of Salvatore and shoved a suitcase to Salvatore's hands. "Big problem Sal! The PF summit is tomorrow!", said the rabbit as she tried pushing the big bear on his way. "Wasn't it scheduled f--" "No, apparently there was a typographical error when they sent us the first invite and the corrected invitation arrived just now which clearly apologized for the mistake and states that the summit is tomorrow!", she interrupted before Salvatore even had a chance to finish.

The bear gave a loud sigh and looked towards the fox and the squirrel with saddened eyes. "Sorry, this is something very important I must attend to so I offer my sincerest apologies for having to leave you two alone.", said the bear while the rabbit continued to futilely push the bear. "Give me a minute, please.", he scolded the rabbit who suddenly switched to a more composed form and stood beside the bear. "It might be a while before I return, but when we do I promise to make up for today. So until then play nice and play safe alright?", he said before turning away without waiting for a response. He took a step and the rabbit took the opportunity to pull his hand, forcing him to lean forward and run with the rabbit. A strong wind blew up a miniature snow tornado which died out a few seconds later, though it was instrumental in hiding the path the officials took in their sudden leave.
