A question

Post by spyderwolf »

I have been reading Housepets! from the very start, where comments are open, but the comments are closed on the latest. When and why did they close?

"Butt Of This Joke" was the last comic-strip with comments (It's the last comic-strip from the Arc 67: Love and War from March 15th 2013)

https://www.housepetscomic.com/2013/03/ ... this-joke/

I think the reason is: It's a lot easier to comment the comics on the forums ;)

Oh, and welcome to the forums, spyderwolf! :D

Agree, and it's much better how's now. Became so confusing follow hundreds of comments showed in that way, that was almost forced their ignoring.

The reasoning was actually explained in the posts leading to the final strips with comments. :3

Rick felt the comic was better served by allowing it to tell its own story and having the comments removed entirely from the comic page.

Thanks for joining the forums!

That wasn't even remotely a factor; the forums have always been plenty active. :3

It's a nice side-effect though!
