Yeah, I think you're right. But a few more couldn't hurt, right?:p Maybe not that many so that the forum crashes, but just a few ?:3

It's not an increase, the system that comicrank uses just takes a few weeks to catch up to where I am.

Slightly Damned also has a graph that is identical, except for it starts at 6,000. I don't really understand how it works.

So the increase isn't as much as it seems?

I agree. We actually don't have that many members at all relative to most comic forums. The ones we do have are just very active.

I actually prefer smaller communities like this, if the forum was a big as some comic's are then I probably wouldn't have joined.

Yeah, me too. I probably won't join if this forum was as big as Giant In the Playground's forum. (I like OotS a lot too)

But I seriously don't mind if we get more members. In fact, I will be happy to meet new members.

A-ha-ha-ha, these intellectual references of science evoked amusement in me.

I must go and buy its merchandise now.

Today I sent an SMS to the Deejay Italia Channel. You know, where a bar displays the SMS sent from the viewers. It jus reads 'Read Housepets!' and the URL to the site.
Just in case, you never know...

Awesome, Kevin & Kell is like one of the original webcomics. That's a big name; it should really help publicity. Great job!

Suggestion for a promo banner. Rick should be involved:

Peanut and Grape, each one pointing at you a-la-Uncle Sam's 'I Want You!'
The banner should read like that: 'YOU are wanted for the funniest reading!' and a second line with the slogan 'Housepets!-It Keeps on Reading'

I'll edit this message with more promo banner ideas, in case...

Does everyone here vote for Housepets at Top Web Comics? Because that's how I found Housepets.

I am not sure how helpful this may be, but I think it may help.

I think the Tiger Awesomefaic was one of the best ad techniques you've tried. Maybe if you made the HP characters do memes and post them as advertisements, you'll get even more peeps. Just don't use the bear...
