Grape doesn't know magic, but she's so spiritually unaware and inherited that her fur radiates magic to the point it breaks the fourth wall.

Bailey is a squid
with seven thousand tentacles
which curl around the Earth underground and hold it together
and she is married
to another squid named Waldorf
they go on adventures on the Magic School Bus
until one day
Ms. Frizzle picked it up and swallowed it whole
so now the entire Earth is inside Ms. Frizzle because Bailey was holding it and she was on the bus that Ms. Frizzle ate
and King has to defeat Ms. Frizzle to save the world
but then in a shocking twist he will turn into her pet lizard and lives as such for the rest of his days
at which point Housepets will become the new adventures of the Magic School Bus
on Mars

oh and also Ms. Frizzle is Mrs. Sandwich
not sure if that was established or not

Heh. King and Bailey doing the fusion dance = King Bailey.

Bailey is really Fox's Daughter, no one knows it yet. When King finds out, he will want to be with Bailey so that Fox will become the father he always needed and will stay a dog, raising a family on the farm and inadvertently win the game by living a happy life.

I still think King "goes native" with Bailey. It would be a serious source of comedy down the line, not to mention a reason for him to stay a dog. :3

The watch transforms into a corgi named Joel when soaked by lake water. The corgi upon being transformed thinks Bailey is his mom when rescued from the water. King is unwilling to admit what just happened.

Congratulations, King. You technically solved your puppy problem.

People also seem to forget that there is quite a big distance between Babylon Gardens and Kentucky. Long distance relationships can be a big hassle.

I meant Kansas. Mixed it up in my head I guess. Either way, it's still a long distance for pets to travel. This comic seems to imply it's a long distance. Either that or the makeshift bucket seat is very uncomfortable.

Just because Fox and Bailey are "cousins" doesn't mean they're blood-related. They could be called that just because they are the pets of relatives.

Gross. I have a close friend that I call my sister but I would never date her. It's a mental thing.

Fox does need to find a nice girl though. It seems rather hard to find intelligent female dogs in this universe.

If you think that them seeing each other as cousins will change anything, think of this: Peanut and Grape call the same people mom and dad, yet Peanut still had (or has, I'm not sure) a crush on Grape.

I'm aware of this. It's why I prefer Max and Grape.

It does help that they have never called each other brother and sister. They've used the word friend plenty of time. It leaves more wiggle room.

Forget my idea after that last comic. I think Fox is encouraging him.

But I do have a new thought: What if Fox already knows King is Joel? Grape knew about Peanut's crush.

Again Fox most likely suspects that Joel was Kings old owner from before Pete or something along that line. Fox is smart, he would be able to come to that conclusion as its very logical, but thinking King is Joel based off that is a little out there, since we don't know if he even knows about Magic or that it can even do things like that even if he does.

lol that picture is so true. Kinda like how Naruto has been shipped with pretty much every character in the Naruto universe ever.

Regarding King and Fox, there's no way in hell that Fox knows that King is Joel.

Also regarding King's feelings toward Bailey, Fox seems to be teasing King about it in the last panel of the lastest comic, so he probably approves.

And also regarding King staying a dog... I sure hope so. :o

Of course there will. Otherwise all of last week would be almost pointless. Thanksgiving is coming up, along with a Thanksgiving dinner/party that may be very important.

Thanksgiving is actually a great time for King to really reflect on his life and on what choice he should make. Whether that choice is soon or far away is really up to Rick though.
