No, Housepets! clearly exist in a parallel universe that only the great Rick has access too. He just draws what he sees there and makes it into a comic, Duh!

There will soon be a feud between the Brother's three and the Milton Ferrets. It will only end when Joey falls for Lana and vice versa. It will be a happy ending for all, and the feud will subside.

I also believe that the water is full of dangerous gasses (why else would it be lilac?) and by next week our main cast will have mutated into giant dancing alligators

The Balloon War will end in a loss for both sides when the ferrets use a giant blimp as a water balloon to flood the streets.

All the characters are just humans in fur suits.

The wolves will feed some of the carcass to King who will grow an unquenchable thirst for raw flesh and blood. He will shun himself away from society and go live as a feral in the woods. There he will find Pete's temple and a final battle will ensue.
