Housepets!

Hello,
Because I made an Housepets theme video recently, during which I modified some pets pictures to high resolution ones, I thought I may utilize these pictures again (you know... programmers always seek methods how to achieve as much as possible with minimum effort, by utilizing already created things again), but now to create some Housepets themed wallpapers.

I made only 10 so far, but I may make more similar in the future, with more pets. They're quite simple, but I hope you'll like them. I created them for use even on monitors with FullHD resolution and divided them into 4 packs, by computer screen aspect ratio.

Wallpaper packs by aspect ratio

Important! In order for the wallpaper to display correctly, you need to download the package with the aspect ratio as your computer screen has. If you're not sure what aspect ratio do you have, try using Wikipedia (I saw nice picture here) or ask. Operating system cropping and resizing won't work on all, because some are not centered, but need to be cropped to the right, not center. In each aspect ratio package, wallpapers are in highest resolution possible (derived from original size), so you may downsample them as you want, or leave that to the operating system.

Windows 7 themes

In case you're running on the Windows 7, you may download these packs (again! Be careful about aspect ratio) and just execute the file and HP wallpapers will be automatically added as slideshow on your desktop.

So, I hope you like these, I hope I'll make some more in the future. I also intend doing HP related mouse cursors, so the Windows 7 theme will be more complete.

Download it in original post, all packs were updated with this Max wallpaper (again, in high FullHD resolution), so you can re-download any of the packs in the original link, including Windows 7 themes.

I'm already using it as my wallpaper ! That Max looks really great, Tails, thank you .

Yes, I had strong urge to hug him while I was working on that particular wallpaper, because his huggability is several petapeanuts (anyone seeing pun here?), while my huggometer measured huggability of only a few milipeanuts on my laptop/TabletPC, where he was displayed, so there was no hugging

FlintTheSquirrel: actually, I didn't use tags for Bino, Fido and Fox. First two ones have only simple tags with a letter on it, so I choose some more distinct symbols to represent them (Bino = Bomb = "rebel/aggressive temper/somethinginthatsense", Fido = star police badge = K9 (not the robodog from Doctor Who)) and I also thought dog tags would look weird in Fox, so I put an lightbulb here (that "I got an idea" one). Actually, if you look at Peanut, Bino, Fido and Grape, you can find out that their backgrounds are completely same pictures I used for Housepets theme video, of course more enlarged and differently blended into whole picture. I also used combination of their fur, collar and eye colors for background and the text for their name (usually, name has their eyes color).

using keys, really love his HD quality.

In keys', At first i saw a sawblade. Then I realized it was a keyboard.(in the background)

The Czech government finally found Tails and sent him to the Gulag, so all his downloads, including the wallpaper and emoticon packs, are down right now. We'll have to wait until he escapes.

But does anyone still have the pictures on there computer? I know i cant download them there, but maybe someone could send them to me.

Go to the saved pictures after you unzipped them, then open the one you want and save a copy in JPEG/JPG format. Then off you go

I dont have a .zip file. and i cant download it anywhere. The only way for me to get it is for someone else to send it to me.
