"The King and I"?

Rick loves dropping teases in his twitter feed:

@rickswriting: "Anyway, I'm taking a break so I can plan out and write scripts for the next Housepets arc, The King And I. Guess what it's about"

Peanut. It's got to be about Peanut. And Grape. And they meet with Fox. And when they do, the Milton Ferrets offer to send them to the moon on a vacation.

This is the only thing that makes sense. THE ONLY THING. If it's anything else, I will be totally surprised.

It's another imaginate arc. In Housepets! 3.0, they won't have "Let's Imaginate" at the beginning of their title

If it is another imaginate will it be comical like the last two, or serious like "Imaginate, Too"?

Anyway I think this a King arc.

Of couse it's a king arc, Elvis Presley returns from the dead and goes on a tour throughout the world, starting for the Mr. Bigglesworths legion's house, for some reason.

In my opinion, 'king' refers to the de fecto king of the Babyloni Gardens, Keene Milton, while 'I' refers to the person who has most of the semi first-person narratives in the comics, King. XD

The question is who this new "I" character is.

Perhaps Rick's self-insert!

Other than Res, of course.

The title is condensed from the original, "The King and dIssension."

If it is an imaginate session, perhaps Fox, King & Bailey will have joined the others in it? :P.

...The thought of King wearing a paper bag with something doodled on it is adorable.

Anyway, this does sounds like another King Arc. I have a feeling it could be his & Bailey's wedding.

The title is a play on a duel between King and Pete at Wrestlemania. Grand Prize is presented by Keene from his mana, which he used to construct a championship belt that can fit even corgis. Whomever so wears this belt is instantly popular amongst dogs, including Fido.

Of course, in true wrestling fashion ~ Bino can't watch as Fido turns into a King worshipper, and in turn renounces his Heel ways and becomes the Masked Bino, who interrupts all arcs that feature King in the future and turns them into Masked Bino arcs.

I would think it is from the perspective of another pet interacting with king. King will be in it, but will play second fiddle to someone else. This will not be a King arc! :?

Perhaps a Bailey centered arc?

I thought that pet-person (petson? XD) was Zach.

I think the same, it would be weird King having another arc so soon but I suppose whatever could happen. Oh Rick you're such a troll tease

That's what I was thinking at first too! Come to think of it, it kinda reminds me of the Psycon arc when he had Ponbon drop in.

This sounds like a interesting avenue to explore since in most arcs with King in it focus squarely on King's goings on. It'd be nice to see things from a different perspective.

Alas, poor Ponbon Rick, he convincd Peanut to assist him on auto-suiciding himself by taking him to the end of time.

Ha ha very funny, folks.

I think Copper and Spens have come up with the most likely possibility: a Bailey-narrated arc around King.

On the other hand, Rick also mentioned that he wanted to wrap up the watch thread soon, so it could be about "Joel" and "King".

The King and I may be the Cosmic Endgame. Remember, Keene is Pete's minion right now.

Kitch wrote:The King and I may be the Cosmic Endgame. Remember, Keene is Pete's minion right now.
Pete doesn't have an avatar yet, it could be him choosing his Avatar (or some how getting Keene to force King to agree, which if the Pete is in the arc is very likely.) but it can't be the Endgame yet. Tarot and Pete's Avatar would still have to fight and I doubt he would just shove that into the end of an arc instead of giving it its own. Though I guess he could but it would be either an extremely long arc or an extremely anti climatic end to the whole Nerds business.

For months, I've had the suspicion that Pete would end up loosing the duel, getting turned into a parrot for a whole lifetime as a penalty and becoming a regular character of the webcomic.

I still for some reason think that this whole Cosmic Arc will end in either a slapfight between King and Tarot, or a game of Uncle.... :|

Somehow that seems probable. Either that or they play D&D.

I see someone talking under that umbrella on the roof. =3

I'm taking a gander here that the ferrets are arranging the wedding and the focus is on that. Possible personal issues like who will be invited mightbe an issue (considering all of King's relatives are human) but other than that, seems more like a behind-the-scene look at what pets think of weddings and how the ferrets plan on doing it.
