The official Housepets! Facebook page kicks off with the start of year six. So what all is going to be on the Facebook page? Well, you can expect exclusive sketches and warm up art, along with random commentary and factoids by Rick on the current strips, the characters and the comic in general. There will also be other bonus material that won't be posted elsewhere and from time to time we will be asking for your input and comments on the comic and stories, along with the ever so fun fact finding surveys and questionnaires. There will also be Retrospective Introspective Perspective on previous comics by Rick on the off days when no new strips are scheduled. Who knows, there might even be a choose your own adventure style strip where fan voting gets to decide the ending. *looks at Rick* what?! It's in my notes so it must be true! There will also be a fan art Sunday. If people submit artwork to me to post, and during that week I get more than two, I will post them each Sunday to showcase the often awesome fan art that is made. As the page grows, more features and other goodies will be added along with anything else we decide to post on there. So like away and enjoy! Thank you for being awesome fans!

Having said that, I think it's awesome that Rick and Karishad decided to do this! I believe this will be a great way to attract new fans to Rick's artwork and Comics.

Facebook offers possibilities that are precluded to this forum's structure, although it's so true that this forum has the advantage of keeping the fan community closer than Facebook would do, so the two networks each compensate the other.
