Because of his gigantic Maple leaf Collar, It Makes me think about Chances of Res being Canadian. But I never Heard of he saying 'eh' though.
I know I'm being Steoreo type here. Also he says sorry a lot; just like every canadian say sorry every 2 sentence.

What's your opinion??

I've honestly got no idea, but I wouldn't be surprised.

I don't really feel there's a reason to believe he either is or isn't. It's possible I guess?

I think, judging by the maple leaf tag, which is the symbol on the Canadian flag, there is a high possibility that he is. But he could just like trees.

Then again, maybe only his owner is Canadian. :0

He must travel around the country a lot so maybe he just picks up a new collar along his travels. I always fantasized that Res was originally from Canada but had a different owner as a kitten. If you're a fan of this character you might like to look up my fanfic Wind Res-istance, as far as i know my story is the only one that features him

You know, despite never hearing of caramilk till now i'd say that's probably the best answer

Though keep in mind Res was originally envisioned with a green leaf for a tag until the fans proved themselves not mature enough to handle that.

How did a green leaf cause immaturity?
As for Res being Canadian I don't think he is, but it could be interesting if he was.

that's rather silly, Maple leafs are pretty hard to mistake for other plants.........

The new leaf makes me think Res is patient. Master of the Rake. Pacifist of the outdoors. King of all leaf piles. His fur smells like the forest and it dances with the wind.
