 mobile version housepets site
Hello, texascat here I've been reading Housepets trough my mobile phone since I stared reading It, It was quite decent read trough phone. but there is lots of disadvantage, This is few list of disadvantage of mobile HP reader.
First I have to wait about 20 seconds to fully load, which contians unnecessary data and Information for mobile user.
Second In order to read comic, I have to zoom in all the way down toward the comic and drag your fingers around a lot!!
Third, someone with inaccurate touchscreen missclick the menu section at left top.
I do not know about number of mobile HP reader but I think It is reasonable to give a room for mobile user. It would be really helpful If you can create Moblie Homepage for Housepets Rick Griffin. Thnak you for reading.

When not on a phone, you can hover the cursor over the comic, and a short joke or explanation or whatever Rick feels like writing appears. For those on mobile devices, they have all been collected here

Oh boy. We need to fix this. You're missing one of the best parts of Housepets! Alt-texts are hilarious!

 Re: mobile version housepets site
I think it's been said somewhere else that Rick doesn't really have the time or resources to create a mobile site. You'll have to stick with the normal web version, on a computer or laptop.
Rick creates the website with Wordpress (and the Comicpress plugin), a blogging tool. I donno how well that'd translate over into a mobile site, and I don't think Rick knows how to make a mobile site with his current technical know-how. I don't think he's looking to hire someone to make and maintain a mobile version of the site for him either.

 Re: mobile version housepets site
what if one of the many tech savvy fans wanted to go through the trouble of doing it for free? Rick wouldn't need to do anything other than approve or deny the final mobile design. (I'm not offering to do it, I don't know how, but I'm sure there's someone who would)

 Re: mobile version housepets site
The problem is that the mobile version of the site- while supposedly a smaller site- is it's still a website. And websites need somewhere to be hosted, as well as maintained. Beyond creating, it would also need to work with the main site simultaneously- be synced somehow, and synced though wordpress. I'm not sure if that's possible because of technical limitations, unless there's a "mobile wordpress" and "mobile comicpress" made to work as such. Who would upload the comics to the mobile site otherwise?
If someone can do it, and make it easy for Rick to use, then it might work. Even then, though, it's still up to Rick if he'd want to use it or not.
Out of curiosity, what other webcomics even have a mobile site? The ones that do probably have a really tech savy creator that included a mobile site at the outset, or are really, REALLY big (like Penny Arcade big). The tl;dr of what I'm saying is that I'm not sure if a mobile version is worth the hassle for Rick just yet.

 Re: mobile version housepets site
Buck has said it all. Sorry folks but no mobile version is likely forthcoming.
