A little bit on one character. The pets are bipedal and sapient and all, but the whole pet thing makes them a little too animal for me to have anything more than a minor crush on any of them.

Heck, I knew furry fandom could be like this...even if I'm not about to have a crush on ANY fictional character (even if they weren't fictional, none of the Housepets girls meet my fancy...maybe Sasha, but only if I had to choose.).

(Is it just me, or have the housepets forums gotten much more...furry all of a sudden?)

They're cartoon animals, so no.

I've got a crush. Everytime at my local supermarket at rush hour.

You'd think a community that has such a fondness of shipping the characters would have more crushes on them. It's not that weird, really. A crush is nothing super serious. A normal person is perfectly capable of having a crush on someone they've never met, have never seen in person, or even doesn't exist. That's all it really is. A meaningless infatuation. It's only when they act like it's something more that it's crazy.

Depending on what you mean by "furry comic," my response would be either "it could be argued that it's not" as well as "you should have been able to tell just by reading it once."

It's furry in the sense that there's a bunch of cute bipedal animal characters.

It's not furry in the sense that I'm not trying to specifically appeal to or ape on other aspects of the standard furry fare.

Presumably most people think it's of the same genre as Garfield upon first reading, anyways.

I don't view Housepets as a furry comic.

... As for the topic, er...

No... But I might get a crush if I were able to interact with them though.

Well, this is an interesting topic!

I guess that I would have to say that I have a bit of a crush on Sasha, Fox, King and Tarot. Sasha because she's adorably funny and the only 'normal' female in the neighborhood. Fox because our personalities match, and he's smart (the fact that my fursona is a Husky, and he's a husky doesn't hurt). King because he's a freaking corgi, he's adorable. And Tarot because she's awesome.

It took me over a week to get over myself when I found out...that guy (not sure if I should mention his name or not)...was gay. I thought I got over the entire thing...but now those exact same feelings have intensified over the entire forum now...even though they shouldn't.
