I have no pure loathing for furries.

I'm being completely serious. Housepets (comic and forum) was my first experience with furries, as well as one of my first online experiences with the internet overall that was actually self-initiated, and I attribute both of these things to why I'm not afraid of/disgusted by furries.

Yay! We wouldn't be friends then if it weren't for Housepets!

Housepets! reignited my desire to swear less.

If that was specifically directed at me, the feeling is reciprocated.

If that was directed at the general public, LOVE ME MORE.

I'm actually more open to people about the whole furry thing, Housepets is a great pg safe example to try explain what a furry is.

Well, yeah, Housepets did affect my behavior a little. It's just that now when I see a cute animal on the street, I don't hide my "Struck by cuteness" syndrome. And I'm also more open-minded about some people, but I doubt HP has to do anything with that.

Housepets has allowed me to be more expressive about what comics i can talk about. limiting myself to Archie comics and videogames was becoming tediously hard in life. It's also made me think about the idea of what fans want most as well and what certain fandoms want out of things =3

Aside from making the occasional orange soda joke that only I understand, no, not really. =P

Well, that, and now I'm more of a dog person.

actually, I just realized that I don't think I dislike cats as much anymore. I'm still more of a dog person, though.

I still hate babies, though. (not a joke. they're ******* annoying)

Well, the comic's gotten all of us to join and participate in an online discussion forum; to agree to and follow terms of service and discussion guidelines; and, in some instances, to devote time to the forums' upkeep and enforcement of said rules.

It's been a pretty big impact, for me. x3

A baby fennec fox character. So loud, so annoying, but so so so cute.

Do it Rick!

On topic, I've found myself automatically/compulsively opening up webpages to the forum. Even when I already have several of them open...

Before I readed Housepets, I was a Evil Overlord, who send out Undead Minions to kill and Burn entire cities! I sink Titanic just for fun! I started world war II! Pokemons dont Exist Anymore because I killed all of then! Im a direct descendent of Dracuul Von Vlad! I was a evil Knight with unholy powers which used to wear a pumpkin on my Head.

But after reading the comic, my life completely changed...

Housepets! helped remind me that there are some genuinely friendly people on the internet :D

On a more annoying note, I can't listen to the music used in the Housepets! Theme Video without mentally singing the words.

Had something like that when I first found it. Happiest person now. Housepets definitely changed some parts of, for the better. The people from housepets have changed me even more, though. Amazing bunch here. :3

My language has become more than less clean. somewhat

Also, from the forum I learned that some furries are not that bad, and that I can also simply be one. :3

Other than that, nothing has changed.

Hmpf...

Yes, Housepets! has changed my life.

It's given me a more positive outlook on life and its many hardships. It's given me more things to relate to, and to help solve some problems.

I've met amazing friends here whom I will always think of. My artistic abilities have improved dramatically thanks to the help of several lovely people.

Well...

It's a first web comic I started to follow for so long. Sometimes I found something in internet, but Housepets! is the first one I really got hooked on. Probably because it reminds me of my childhood in some aspects.

I also learned to look on dogs from different aspect. When I was young, a dog bite my hand and since then I was afraid of dogs. But this comic somehow made me to love dogs again. Although I'm still afraid of large dogs, this fear starts to slowly pass too.
And because of that, I started to work on my photographic project.

I'm new to this forum, and Housepets, but I don't really think that matters right? Unless you guys are into picking on the new kid, which I hope isn't the case. (JK!!!) Anyways, I don't really think Housepets changed my behavior. I mean it did a little, but I'm just glad that clean, reverent comedy still exists in the internet. Its very refreshing to see a comic that is super funny, but not inappropriate.
