 Goin' back a bit... Can anyone explain to me how the addition of the Mr.BigglesWorth clan came into existence? What do you think gave Rick the idea?

Re: Goin' back a bit... They initially showed up When Max was introducing Grape to the cats of the neighbourhood.
As for the idea, I'm sure they were based off of crazy cat owners who buy alot of cats.

Re: Goin' back a bit... I don't think I've ever heard the idea of a crazy cat lady from the perspective of the cats. Perhaps Rick thought that would be a cool thing to do.

As for what spawned the idea of having like 11 of them maybe he knew someone ages ago who had a cat who had lots of kittens and she kept them all

Re: Goin' back a bit... I have known and seen the "Crazy Cat Lady" Phenomenon many times, and I always wondered about the cats erspective. I am glad to have the Bigglesworth Horde around to show that. As for the motivation, I have absolutely no clue, but they are a fun lot!

Re: Goin' back a bit... I think he is commenting on how unimaginative some people can be in naming their pets. How many times have you ever heard of cats named "Snowball" or "Socks"? Or a dog named "Bear"? It also makes for good comedy like the awkward date and Racer B jokes.

Re: Goin' back a bit... HEY! Theres nothing wrong with ghaving a dog named Socks...as long as his name was different before, but yeah I mean referring to the cats that look so alike that they get named the same, doesn't really work if, I bet half of those cats are girls!

Re: Goin' back a bit... Some of the Mr. Bigglesworth cats ARE girls. The point is the comedy that comes from the "having all the same name" confusion. They all have the same name due to their owner being a crazy cat lady. Everyone knows that crazy old cat lady stereotype, from cartoons or real life, depending. Also, their first appearance was here! Not quite the n-ple date like you think...

I saw a crazy old cat lady action figure one time at a Hot Topic by the way.
