 I can has moar questions?
Rick, Who would you say is your favorite artist? Author? Genre? Which character do you relate to the most? How long in advance come up with story / dialogue? You think about this comic all day long every day, don't you? (I can tell because it's awesome!) On a related note: how are your grades? >=P

Re: I can has moar questions?
I'm fairly certain that the story is sketched out at least several weeks (or months) in advance. As for specific dialogue? Probably not so much. While I'm sure the comic occupies a bit of Rick's time, he does have other projects and concerns. It may not be as much as you expect. That's kinda personal, isn't it? *laughs* Next question: What's your address, and when are you usually at home? (Okay, so it's a two-parter. Sue me.)

Re: I can has moar questions?
I have a bunch of favorite artists, though in general I actually enjoy really good amateurs more than professionals. I put a little of myself into each of the characters! Story usually several weeks or months ahead. I have this year's Christmas story all lined up; mainly the beginning and the end of it, and it is going to be AWESOME let me tell you. I think about it when required! No, I think about it on the days I do the comic; I have other projects to worry about too. Grade-like.

Hey, Rick, do other people you know outside of the web know you have a great web comic?

Re: I can has moar questions?
Extended family, eh? Does that mean you have multiple grandparents as well? =3
and i never was one to get too personal about this, but since it usually relates to the comic, what are your favourite holidays? celebrated and non-celebrated?

Re: I can has moar questions?
Would you ever hold a sweepstakes on the forums, and the winner gets their very own character in the comic?

Yes I do. My grandpa on my mom's side remarried recently, even. Christmas is the ur-holiday. We only need Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, really.

Two of which aren't celebrated in most countries anyway.

Re: I can has moar questions?
I have a question. Now, I've no idea when you wrote this, and if it has been discussed before (I searched, and didn't find anything useful). And one more question: What is the font you use in your comics? Oh wait, there's more questions: I know that feral and stray animals don't have any legal rights, but are they still allowed to buy stuff for themselves? Like in this comic, since Peanut & Grape appear as strays without their collars, would they still be able to buy stuff? Or even, would a stray/feral animal be able to buy something they're not allowed to sell in Pet Stores to pets?

Re: I can has moar questions?
I wrote it about the last time I updated the cast page. I actually have been holding off until I could get some better pictures of each cast member Webletterer BB Legally the subject is not addressed. But I suspect some vendors may accept cash from ferals, because hey, money is money.

When pets give birth, do they have one pup or litters now?

Re: I can has moar questions?
I got sucked into this comic because it's consistently funny. That said, which is your favorite gag/punchline that you've done so far? (My vote is for Rufus and his morbid double-entendres. :p)

Re: I can has moar questions?
My guess would be no, since the Housepets! world isn't much different from the real one by biological laws (the only major difference that I noticed, aside the pets walking on 2 legs and talking, is that they live twice as longer). And besides, just look at Mr. Biggelsworth. They're so similar, and they look the same age, at least some of them are siblings (blood-related).

Re: I can has moar questions?
A very long time ago. xD If I remember correctly, some of the early sketches were from 2006, and Bino (as well as some of the other characters) have been drawn by Rick for years and years. Plenty of the jokes have been recycled, too. *laughs* "What's old is new again," I guess.

Re: I can has moar questions?
Whoo Boy. I had to go re-watch the old Heathcliff TV series before coming back here XD
Alright, i got a question:
We have Heathcliff, Garfield & Calvin/Hobbes. pretty much all of them would be considered cat comics and were fairly popular. Was there any peculiar Dog Comics you liked? (i would consider Peanut as a Dog comic since Snoopy would count)
