Housepets!

I have this comic bookmarked at the first housepets comic (when boredom strikes) and when I'm just skimming through the comics just to pass time. It seems like in the newer comics, Peanut is getting increasingly smarter or just not as stupid as he used to be. He's..................................................evolving. "CONGRATULATIONS" Your Peanut has turned into a, well- smarter Peanut 'n stuff.

indeed, but that's what happens with everyone as they age (granted, this comic is like the Simpsons in that the characters don't age)

I don't think he was ever really stupid, just ignorant of normal social interaction. Now he has learned a lot about that, so he seems smarter. That and he is maturing, like the others said.

Yep I'm gonna have to side with the maturity angle 'cause he's already read every book in the library! That's impressive! But yeah he is getting better at social situations in a very, very slight degree too.

The pokemon evolution was funny by the way.

I also think he's just more matured right now than at the begining of the comic. He never was stupid or something like that, he just behave like a child and due to some experience he get during the comic, he matured and started to behave more ..... mature.

Why am I continuously saying mature or matured?

Probably you're right It's just sound a little weird for me, cause in Polish we are using a lot of different words to name one thing and we aren't repeating one world so often in just 2 sentences

Peanut is oblivious to a lot of things.
this won't make a person "stupid"

at the rate Peanut can read a book, it won't amaze me if he can build a rocket, but has no idea how to drive it because it was not in the manual.

I agree with you Kyderra, he's definitelly not stupid, just sometimes childish and probably he's absent-minded as I am

I like to think Peanut as a person who enjoys the presumed innocence. He just loves being himself, and that more mature self only emerges when it will most surprise people.

It was a cardboard one when he and Grape were playing pretend.

All of the Housepets seem to have matured somewhat, not just Peanut. He has shown the most growth, but I am pretty sure that they all have grown some. I like that about this comic.

He got a bit smarter and Rick's sense for his character might have changed a bit too
