Housepets!

So, If you could decide what a characters favorite music genre, artist, or song was in Housepets, what would they be? And why?
I myself believe that Grape would listen to punk rock, like Marianas Trench, and possibly rock like AC/DC. And I believe that Peanut would listen to an artist like Barenaked Ladies, or something along those lines. What do you think? I would love to read what all of you come up with!

Rex would either listen to death metal or ABBA, i'm torn between him being sissy or hardcore

Max is black, he listens to black metal! His favorite band is Dimmu Borgir....
Tarot listens to classical music. Requiem for a Dream is her favorite composition.
Fox listens to hard rock, and he loves Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin.
Marvin listens to heavy metal. His favorite artists are Judas Priest and Ozzy Osbourne. That's why he's so calm all the time.
Bino listens to rap. No favorite artists.
Grape listens to rock & roll, such as Elvis Presley.
Peanut listens to pop. I bet his favorite song is Waka Waka by Shakira, or something by Lady Gaga.
Rufus listens to country for obvious reasons His favorite artist is Alan Jackson. Oh, and the Charlie Daniels Band.
The ferrets listen to the song "Money money money" by ABBA. Nothing else!

Tiger seems to have very little sanity left in him. His music might reflect that.

We all know that the only thing Tarot and Sabrina listen to is Queen (alternatively, they can't stand Queen). I bet King enjoys movie soundtracks. *shrugs*

Fox is the classical listener, definitely..

I'd take Sasha as a fan of pop, but she has a rather varied taste in it.

Rex loves Christmas music. He would play it year round if he could.

Bino, obviously, only listens to songs about conquering or overcoming obstacles. Doesn't matter the genre.

Grape is more of a jazz fan if you ask me. Classical or smooth, none of that freeform stuff.

Peanut likes weird Al, but he also listens to a lot of U2 surprisingly. Also any song about unrequited love.

Joey listens to Indie rock and anime soundtracks.

Fido doesn't really listen to music, but he is always willing to try something new out. Because of this, he has an eclectic musical taste. He likes songs, not artists or genres.

Everyone likes the Beatles. It is the only band that everyone will listen to.

i agree with both of these ^ cuz a lot of people listen to the Beatles as well as Queen

I would consider Opera to be a form of classical music.

I am ashamed to know this, her song "the climb" is about just that.

I, after much thought, believe that King listens to slower music, some genre like easy listening or an artist like Lionel Richie or Christopher Cross, and also I almost get a Jazz vibe from him. (Along with Sabrina, but that's just me.)

Grape and Marvin are definitely fans of Led Zeppelin, Cream and Jimi Hendrix
Tiger obviously listens to thrash metal bands like Havok and Exodus.
Fox likes the band Animals As Leaders
Rex like 80's New Wave.

For some reason I've long imagined Max to be a Rush fan. In particular, songs like these come to mind:

I think Peanut (and maybe Grape) would listen to Enrique Iglesias, especially the song "Cuando me enamoro," because of how it talks about young love and having feelings for another person. If you watch the video, you'll see what I mean.

Also, I think Joey would listen to the PROTOMEN, a rock group from Tennessee, who wrote a rock opera based on Mega Man. It sounds like it's right up his alley.
