They have probably already met. Max is the roommate of Fido's brother after all.

All he could learn from Bino is that Fido is a glory sponge and attention seeker who pretends to be something special, but actually made up all the stories about teaching pups to read and catching criminals and whatnot.

Well I think that Fido and Max have had more contact with each other than what might be thought. I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Max the de facto leader of the cats? If he is, then he and Fido have probably had at least some discussion. Max also spies on the GODC meetings all the time, and I'm sure that Fido has noticed that. They may have even had mutual contact through Sabrina in the beginning of the relationship between Fido and Sabrina. I am probably just over thinking this, though.

Well, it's some sort of rodent. The website I got it from said it was a mouse, but a commenter said it was a rat. I just called it a rat.

I know they've at least seen each other.

Yeah, Rick should make a one-off at least of Maxwell interacting with Spo... that'd be cool....

Actually, this feels like one of those "you know, that would be cool... yeah..." conversations which go nowhere, so let me aim high: Rick should make an arc where Fox builds a rocket in his backyard and Maxwell and Spo go to the moon and have tea and crackers and eat the moon as cheese. THAT would be cool.

Anyway, I don't think the cat was really after that mouse, I think it was just investigating it and not expecting it to react with aggression.

Cat's just being nosy, mouse is being RAR.
