I've been thinking this through...you wrote 'hanging'. This can mean one of two things...and I'm honestly scared at what it could mean. I doubt it, but it won't get out of my head!

Hanging, as in hanging from a leg/arm, not...like dead...though that is creepier

I'm kind of sitting on the update cause the Comic as of late could interfere with my overall plot :3

I'm deciding whether or not to keep my plot or conform so it makes sense with the comic...(depends where the comic goes so I've been waiting :s)

Well it is called fanfiction because it goes whichever way the writer wants it to while using the same characters. But if what you want to do is follow Ricks story in this then we fully understand.
