Hey Guys I am back from my Break and have a fresh update for you too boot. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Chapter 7

“Hello ladies can I start you gals off with something to drink.” The waiter asked in his most pleasing tone as not to offend the couple.

Luna was the first to respond as she already had an idea what she wanted before she came in. “I'll take a Venti Penta shot macchiato Nonfat, No foam, extra caramel, with whip caramel Served as hot as you can get it. I'll also take your brunch special extra bacon please” Luna picked up the menu and passed it mildly to the waiter.

“And how about you miss?” still writing down Luna’s order he turned his eyes to Daisy and waited patiently for a response.

“Coffee black no sugar no cream, I'll also have your brunch special and make it double sausage, double bacon and triple egg combination.” Daisy handed the menu to the waiter and she reached for of glass water on the table.

“So what’s up Daisy, It must be pretty important for you to be up and about this early in the morning?” Luna bared a half smile as she waited for Daisy's response.

“You’ll never guess what happened last night; I was coming home from visiting Charlie when I bumped into none other than the neighborhood chair dog Bino…” Daisy said excitedly

“Wait that name sounds familiar, isn’t he the one who fell off the grand balcony the first day we met?” Luna said as she reached for her phone to turn it off.

Daisy reached over and grabbed a of glass water left on the table, using it to hide her girlish grin “yeah that's him all right… “
Daisy took a quick swig of her water before continuing her story.

“Anyway like I was saying, I was on the way home when I noticed him on the Park bench, he looked absolutely terrible as if he was just ran through a washer. Anyway after, a few blasts of my girlish charm I finally got him to open up to me, come to find out he just broke up with Sasha…” The mere thought of Sasha caused Daisy to tighten her fist angrily around the cup, as if to strangle it, and stare coldly into her water
“Umm Daisy are you ok?” Luna looked concerned as she noticed small cracks start to form in the glass and a small trickle of blood course down the bottom of the cup from Daisy's hand.

Daisy looked down at the broken glass in her hand and noticed that she was bleeding. “Sorry I must have gotten carried away.” Daisy gently placed the glass on the table as not to shatter it and reached for the napkin dispenser to clean herself up.

“I'm guessing there's some history between you two…” The rest of Luna's question was interrupted by the waiter as he returned with their drinks.

“Aright here we go, that's one Venti Penta shot macchiato Nonfat, No foam with extra caramel for you.” The waiter gently placed the scorching hot drink next to Luna.

“And for you one large black coffee no sugar no cream” as the waiter placed Daisy's drink in front of her, he noticed the broken glass and the crinkled up red stained napkin adjacent to it.

His expression to immediately changed. “Oh my, I am terribly sorry are you okay… Here let me get that for you.” The waiter immediately grabbed a large towel and picked up the glass discarding it in a nearby waste bin. “Is there anything else I can help you gals with? “

Luna glanced at Daisy quickly before answering. “No we are quite fine, thank you very much “

“Okay then, I'll be right back with your food, should only be a couple more minutes now” the waiter said as he turned away and started walking back towards the kitchen.

“Anyway, please continue Daisy you're talking about Sasha... I mean you totally don't have to, if it makes you uncomfortable” Luna said with a cautious tone

Daisy pointed her head down slowly and took a deep breath. “Fine Luna, I'll tell you about my past but you have to promise me first that you won't think less of me because of it.” Daisy looked up and stared at Luna and waited for her response.

Luna was caught completely off guard by the intensity of Daisy's look as she waited for her response; Luna could feel the tension start to fill the air around her as Daisy prepared to open the gates to her past. “We've been best friends for how long now? … Of course I won't think any less of you because of your past Daisy, I'm just glad you're finally willing to talk about it with me”

Daisy grabbed her cup of coffee and took a small sip. “All right Luna, you deserve to know the truth so here it is. My mother was a feral and my father was a stray. I never got the chance to know either of them; all I really know about them is the few loose stories what my grandfather told me as a pup.

Moirae was my mother’s name and my father was Sandor. They were both killed by a mountain lion when I was very young. My grandfather found me a few days later; I was the only survivor from the entire litter, too weak to survive without assistance my grandfather dropped me off in the dead of night at the Babylon gardens animal shelter, I was adopted nine weeks later. “Daisy stopped for a moment to take a second drink of her coffee.

Luna took Daisy's pause as an opportunity to politely interrupt. “So this grandfather of yours, was feral like your mother?”

“Well yes he was feral, and although he wasn't my biological grandfather he always treated me like his daughter, even after I was adopted he would sneak by to my place to tell me a bedtime story, or bring a small gift from the forest, he passed many other things down to me, up Until his death a few years ago.” Daisy closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath and forced a smile.

“I'm sorry to hear that…” Luna's response was quickly ended as Daisy interrupted her immediately

“Don’t be! I'm not. Death is just the beginning of our next to journey and as long as his star shines in the night sky his story will never be lost…” Daisy was interrupted by the waiter carrying six enormous plates of food their direction.

“Let's see here, we have a brunch special extra with bacon.” he carefully place the plate in front of Luna before turning a Daisy and placing down and even larger plate in front of her. “And here's your brunch special and with it double sausage, double bacon and triple egg combination, is there anything else you two ladies need?”

Luna nodded and the waiter proceeded back into the kitchen.

The food hadn’t been on the table for 5 seconds before Daisy started digging in, Daisy commanded her fork with almost military precision, every action had a purpose cut, scrape, separate and shovel. It was only a matter of seconds for the eggs were gone and she turned on the bacon and hash. Luna watched in dismay at the viciousness of Daisy's eating, it was almost like a car accident she didn't to see more but she couldn't turn away. Daisy cleared each plate with astonishing speed leaving no crumbs behind and a plate clean enough to almost a back on the shelf.

Daisy covered her mouth with one hand and out a muffled burp. “Wow that hit the spot… It’s been a long time since I've had such a good meal.”

“I have a hard time believing you even tasted it” Luna said as she just started to eat. Luna's eating method was completely different then Daisy’s, calm, graceful she quite. She meticulously cut everything into small mouth sized pieces and chewed them thoroughly before moving onto the next. Luna stopped eating so she could get Daisy to continue her story. “So Daisy you still haven't told me why you have so much animosity towards Sasha.”

Daisy looked down and gazed into her empty plate and let out a long exaggerated sigh. “Fine if you must know me and Sasha were best friends… More like sisters actually, we even had the same owner. I was just over a year old when Stan purchased Sasha; and for a while things were great I finally got a sibling I so longed for, we shared everything and for a while life was good, but as time went on I started to notice that Stan was spending more and more time with Sasha.

It got to the point where he stopped taking me on walks, I was hoping that it was just a phase, but sadly no, I was living a pet’s worst nightmare, being replaced. I tried my hardest to hold his attention but I was no match for Sasha and her dumb cuteness, and In Less than a year I ended up an ‘outdoor dog’ and wasn’t even allowed in the house anymore. “Daisy paused to take a sip of her coffee before continuing.

“I was almost content with my life as an outdoor dog; I figured that even if my owner no longer loved me I might still be able to have a semi-normal life, so I pushed on just like grandfather taught me to. More time passed, I was never able to get over having my father stolen from me by Sasha and started to secretly resent her, I knew it wasn't her fault, and how could it be she was just a puppy. Even more time passed I started to feel less and less like a part of the family as if I didn't belong there anymore I Could only watch helplessly through the window, I watch them forget about me little by little and then completely altogether until it became unbearable to watch anymore.”

“I remember the night of my third birthday crying alone in the dark because they had forgotten about me. I couldn’t’ take it anymore I tore off my collar and threw away…”

“Bonnie died that night; she was Left alone and forgotten in an alley Dumpster. I doubt that anyone looked for her and seriously doubt anyone ever cared. “Daisy stopped to clear her throat she had never told anyone about her past and was having a hard time making the words come out . She had suppressed her feelings for so long letting them out caused her pain.

Luna could see he discomfort in Daisy’s expression. As she scooched over to Daisy’s side of the booth and placed her arm on her shoulder. “You don’t have to say anymore, I can understand why you have so much bitterness for Sasha, and I am not judging you for hating her.” Luna said as she felt a tear drop hit her in the head causing her to look straight up at Daisy who was doing her best not to cry.

Daisy swallowed hard; as she tried desperately to compose herself. “you’re the best friend a girl could ask for” Daisy reached over for a half full glass of water and chugged it down to clear the lump that formed in her throat. “But you're completely wrong, that’s not why I hate Sasha; if it were only that, I might be able to forgive her.”
“Okay Daisy just know you can stop whenever you don’t have to say anymore unless you want to.”

“Thanks Luna, but I’ll be ok”
“ … So I had just ran away from home, I had nowhere to turn so I figured that I would live with grandpa in the forest, but fate had another plan for me that night. As I was walking towards the woods where grandpa lived, I had to cross a large highway .it was late at night and was pouring down rain. I remember grandpa told me how dangerous it was across highways at night and I honestly thought he was just exaggerating. I managed to cross four lanes just fine was only on the fifth Lane that I did actually understand what he meant but it was too late. I got hit by a car going the opposite direction and sucked under the wheels…

“I don't remember exactly what happened after that, but I do remember waking up in the arms of a young woman, she had seen the accident and came to my rescue, she took me to her home and treated my injuries. Her name was Rosie and she was a paramedic for a nearby hospital. We didn't talk at much first and I was little more than hesitant to get involved with another human, but something in my gut told me she was different. “ Daisy Paused for a moment as she noticed the waiter pass by her, she grabbed his apron to get his attention .

“Oh is there something I can help you with.” He asked slowly partially annoyed

“Yeah we get some more coffee over here and I want a second brunch special and with it double sausage.” Daisy said with authority

“So back to the story, I was staying with a young female named Rosie, it didn’t take long for me to start warming up to her she was so different then Stan. She gave me everything, warm homemade food, a cozy bed so sleep on and above all love. The days became week and weeks turned in to months and so forth. She gave me a new name and a new life. And for that I will always be thankful. Just over a year later we moved to Babylon gardens in a much larger house on the opposite side of the garden where Stan and Sasha lived. I figured that as long as I stayed away from their house they would never know it was me and it would be better for all of us that way. My new life was great and I loved every moment of it.

Now at that time I was just starting to notice male dogs, and had a particular crush on one, he had everything, popularity, self-confidence, a fancy collar and the brightest green eyes I have ever seen. Every day I would sit outside my fence and wave him down as he passed by for his walks, but I was always too shy to say anything to him. That was till the day he stopped at my house and delivered me in invitation to his birthday. I recall being so excited that I couldn’t form the right words to say and just blurted out that my name was Daisy… I was so excited for the party for 3 days I could hardly sleep; every passing thought was consumed by what I was going to say or what I was going to do to make him notice me.” Daisy paused yet again when the waiter came around and placed a fresh cup of coffee on the table. She reached over to grab a drink of the scorching cauldron taking a small sip of the near scalding hot coffee.

“So Daisy I have a question for you, does Sasha know…” Luna asked while also grabbing a small cup of the hot coffee.”

Daisy’s facial expression changed instantly, “No, and it needs to stay that way got it”

Luna could not help but feel slightly threatened by Daisy’s intense gaze “Got it” Luna said, timidly.

“Good, I am almost finished.”
“It was the day, I wouldn't be surprised if I had been looking forward to it more than him, I had saved enough money to buy him something exciting and dangerous just like mom suggested. And was feeling real good about my chanced to make a good impression and maybe if I was lucky score a first kiss.” As I entered the room is greeted by several dogs that were also attending his birthday. The room where the party was being held was large and a full dog of all sizes and breeds, there was music and games the smell of food and sweets saturated the air. I couldn't help but look around I've never seen so many dogs one in place And that’s when I noticed her. It was hard to believe that how big she had gotten in the one year sense I had last seen her, Sasha was almost my height. I really wanted to talk to her but my Gut told my otherwise.”

“I was just fine staying on the opposite end of the room until I saw him sitting next to her at the main table the site made my skin crawl. I inched closer slowly and carefully towards the table just getting close enough to hear what they were saying., I listened to Sasha as she flirted with him drawing him closer and closer to her. I watched her lock on to him to with the same eyes that stole my father so long ago. And without a warning BAM she reached in and stole his first kiss from right under me. For a brief second I felt just like I did the same night Daddy had forgotten my birthday, alone and unwanted. I was so angry I stormed out without ever saying Hi, I know it might sound silly OVER a crush but it was my crush… and my first kiss she stole that night… And for that I can never forgive her.”

“now I see why you have so much animosity towards Sasha … So who is this mystery crush of yours anyway?” Luna asked with great anticipation

“Bino,” Daisy replied slightly blushing

Luna couldn't help but smile as everything was clicking together in her mind. “I see.”

Daisy interrupted. “It's kinda the real reason I asked you here today, I kind of got a date with him and needed some help setting it up”

Luna had a huge smile that stretched from ear to ear. “Logistics now you’re talking my language girlfriend.” Luna reached over and pulled out her smartphone started and wildly typing away. “Daisy when I am done with you, you’re going to have to beat him off you with a stick”
“Ok Daisy Mr. Steward will be here in 20 minutes or so let’s eat and get out of here” Luna said trying to hide the excitement in her voice

Just as she finished that the waiter walked towards the table caring of the large tray of plates towards Daisy. Daisy looked at Luna she was smiling from ear to ear and couldn't contain her excitement. ” Do you think of enough time finish this plate?”

Luna laughed out loud.” The real question is what are you do for the other 17 min. After you’re done”

Daisy and Luna both hurried to finish their plates before leaving in large stretch limo that waited outside. For the rest of the day Luna had Daisy in and out of some of Babylon's finest salons and boutiques.

Before she knew it five hours past and it was almost 6 o'clock, Daisy looked exhausted from all the shopping. “Okay Daisy were done you should probably get some rest for the night” Luna said with an enormous grin on her face.

Luna reached down and handed Daisy a Golden envelope. “Daisy in this envelope there are two VIP tickets to tonight's F-SPAWN concert as well as a reservation for two at Bellagio's. There's also the name and number of the limo driver who will be escorting you two and from, as well as a cell phone you could use to call if you need something or getting any kind of trouble, I don't think I missed anything, oh yes of course dinner reservations are for 9:15 and the concert starts at 10:00”

Daisy reached over and gave Luna a massive hug that covered her whole body. “Thanks you Very much Luna you’re the Best! And I love this new Gucci collar it’s so shiny!”

“Just promise me a call as soon as you wake to let me know how your date went.” Luna said.

“I wouldn't have it any other way.” Daisy said with a sly smirk on her face. As she exited the Limo and walked to her Doghouse for a quick nap before the big night.

Well I am glad you guys liked it, and yes I know Daisy's past as a little sad but I am of the firm belief that every 1 ounce of pain will eventually yield ounces 2 of happiness. my next few updates may reflect this philosophy-but no promises.

And no TMH it was not Lunazul, great idea though but that would be way to easy and her parents would not be killed so easily.

And yes I do drink a Venti Penta shot macchiato Nonfat, No foam, extra caramel, with whip caramel. as often as I can afford it... Which is very often :(

The next update should be some time this weekend but theirs no telling that day, But I have pretty high hopes a better then average update.

I would also like to take a moment to thank everyone for your comments I greatly appreciate your thoughts and opinions on this Fic.

I really like this, I'm actually happy that Bino seems to be in his happy place for the most part, and it's cool to see the backstory to a really minor character. Though Daisy kind of scares me a little... but irregardless your stuff is awesome dude!

Chapter 8

Daisy walked to the front door exhausted from her many shopping trips with Luna; she carried two heavy bags in both of her arms causing them to sag as she moved. Daisy walked to the front door and rang the doorbell a few times, as she remembered she had lost her key in her other collar the night she fought with Lunazul. Daisy waited patiently at the doorstep she could hear the soft sounds of bare feet pitter pattering across the hardwood floor that blanketed the hallway entrance.

“Hello, who is it? “The soft voice asked from the other side of the door.

“It’s me, mom I lost my key again” Daisy said exhaustively still holding both heavy bags in her arms.

“Oh your back from shopping with Luna then already. All right just give moment to put on some clothes I just got out the shower.” The soft voice said from the other side of the door, Daisy could hear the sound of laundry rustling on the floor as Rosie quickly grabbed a pair of tattered shorts and loose shirt to cover herself up before unlocking the door.

Daisy could hear the grinding sounds of the locking mechanism sliding past the double tumbler that held the lock in place, causing her to instinctively drop both bags on the porch and Crouch down in the pounce position. The moment Rosie opened the door Daisy sprung through the air and landed dead center in Rosie's arms causing her to stagger back in order to maintain balance. Before Rosie could react, Daisy had wrapped both arms around her a large hug and pelted with a few frantic licks that stretched from the lower part of Rosie's chain all the way to her ears causing Rosie to erupt and laughter and lose balance. Rosie tried her best to maintain balance but to no avail, she fell gently and a pile of clean laundry that littered the floor still holding Daisy.

Rosie still giggling as she held Daisy in one hand and used the other hand to give her a hardy tickle behind both ears and under her collar, triggering Daisy's legs to kick in the air frantically from the sensation overload, till the point where was way too much to handle and Daisy couldn't hold it anymore and burst out in laughter.

Daisy was being tickled so hard she could hardly breathe but somehow managed to gather enough strength to speak “Ok… Ok … you win mom…you win…” Daisy cried while panting for air. Rosie drew back her hand that was tickling Daisy but didn't let go. “Well I missed you too.” Rosie said as she gave Daisy a few light strokes across her soft underbelly that caused Daisy to relax and catch her breath.

“Good girl… So, care to explain why you're so overly affectionate today?” Rosie asked with a big smile.

“Well mom… I kinda have a date tonight.” Daisy tried to hide her blush but couldn't due to the pleasant sensation of having her belly rubbed by Rosie.

Rosie cracked a smile from ear to ear as she proceeded slowly to rub Daisy’s belly “Well good for you, about time me and your father were starting to worry that you may not like other dogs…So when are we going to get the chance to meet this fine fellow of yours?”

Daisy answered softly she could feel herself start to drift away. “He'll be here at eight o’clock; you and dad can meet him then.” Daisy replied as she closed her eyes and fell into a nap.

Rosie waited a moment for Daisy to pass out before she pulled herself off the floor and lifted Daisy to a nearby couch then covered her with a large blanket. Rosie then decided to grab Daisy's bags, refold laundry and give her husband a call.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7:40 PM

Bino had just arrived at Daisy's house he stopped at the white picket fence and peered his head over to get a good look at her front yard; there were many large flower boxes that lined outside the house each containing an assortment of different collard tulips, lilies and daisies, two large overgrown rose bushes acted as natural barriers between the front and the backyard. The entrance to the house sat at the end of a hardwood porch between a well-worn porch swing and an outdoor sofa. Bino reached his arm around the white picket fence opening it and continued to walk towards the front door.

Bino had one hand on the doorknob as the door swung open wildly “I'm going out for smoke honey I’ll be right back in a few.” A large dark skinned man appeared from the other end of the doorway noticing Bino immediately. “Well look who showed up at our doorstep, you must be Daisy's date tonight?”

Bino still slightly startled from the door swinging open so fast paused for a second before he answered. “Un- yeah” he said slightly blushing. “My name is Bino by the way” Bino stretched his hand up in order to offer a shake.

“Well Bino, my name is Jeremey glad to meet you.” Jeremey grabbed Bino’s hand and pulled him directly into his chest covering him a massive hug. “Well you definitely look good and you smell decent enough, looks like she picked a good one.” He gave Bino two hefty Pats on the back before gently placing him back on the ground.

“Now Bino two things, first off I have to lay down a couple of ground rules, so pay attention because I am only going to say this once.” Bino was completely caught off guard by the sudden change of both Jeremey’s voice and brow; his black colorless eyes to seemed to absorb the light around them leaving no reflection just a slight pull that held Bino in place causing a large lump to form in the middle of Bino's neck.

“Rule number one and most importantly, my wife and I are very protective of Daisy, so if we find out that you treated her poorly or she gets hurt for whatever reason, that pretty coat of yours might end up being used as a toilet seat cover or a pair of really nice beer cozies. Second off I want you make sure she has a good time but (not that good of a time) you get me… Finally she's to be home at 2AM on the dot 2:01, I am at the door and 2:05 I'm in my car and at 2:07 I'm coming for you so… please don't do anything that's going to cause me to violate my parole feel me?”

Bino swallowed down hard pushing the large lump that formed in his neck back down. “Y-yes, sir!”

“Good I'm glad we could reach an understanding on that. Secondly I'm looking at you and not seeing any gifts; no candy no flowers nothin… what's the deal, you think I'm just goin to let you march up in here take my daughter out a and not bring her somethin?”

“Well-umm…” Before Bino could explain himself he was immediately interrupted by Jeremey.

“Hey Rosie I'm going to the corner store to pick up some cigarettes and some milk I'll be right back…”Jeremey turned and looked at Bino “you're coming with me, don't worry I’ll make sure you get back here on time.” Jeremey pulled a small remote out of his pocket and pressed the center button triggering the automated garage door open to up exposing a midnight purple GTO. “Well Whaddya think Bino?”

Bino could only smile and wag his tail furiously, he was completely rendered speechless. He had seen cars these movies and on TV but never once in his life thought he'd have the opportunity to ride in one. Without thinking he followed Jeremey to the car and hopped in the passenger seat. Jeremey rolled down the car windows turned up the sound system and before buckling up and speeding off leaving a black trail of tire makes behind them.

As they're were driving down to the corner store Jeremey couldn't help but notice Bino bumping his head to the music and mumbling the lyrics under his breath, Jeremey turned up the volume and chimed in Bino where left off.

Nowadays everybody wanna talk like they got somethin to say
but nothin comes out when they move their lips;
Just a bunch of gibberish and ******** act like they forgot about Dre.

A few moments later they're both fully singing the last few verses of forgot about Dre as loud as they could in the car, the unusual sound combination of their voices and loud bass from the car caused people on the sidewalk to stare at the two as they drove by, but neither of them cared they just continued bumping their heads. Just as the song ended Jeremey pulled into the Wal-Greens parking lot as if choreographed somehow.

Jeremey stared directly at Bino as he exited the parked car. “Bino, get out.” Jeremey said as he reached in his pocket and pulled out a large roll of 20 dollar bills; he pulled a few off the top and passed them to Bino. “Bino, take this money and go across the street to that floral shop and buy Daisy some flowers, I am going to Wal-Greens for a carton of cigarettes and some milk, just make it quick okay? We only have 15 minute to get back to the house. Don't worry this’ll be our little secret” Jeremey slipped him a slight wink before turning his head and walking towards the entrance.

“Thanks, I guess I owe you” Bino replied as he tucked the money his collar wallet.

Jeremey suddenly stopped and turned to look at Bino. “If you manage to keep my daughter happy and busy tonight, so my wife and I can have some ‘quality time’ then will call it even” Jeremey shot Bino another sly wink and proceeded inside.

Bino crossed the street and entered the small flower boutique. The second the door swung open he was bombarded by a tidal wave of smells that blitzed his sensitive nose causing him to sneeze as he entered.

“Bless you.” a short man poked his head up from behind a counter and glanced at the brown dog for a split second. “Welcome to The Budding Rose where we deify the very gods to bring you the best flowers of your sweetheart. My name is Samuel and I am the proprietor of this establishment how can I help you?”

Bino stopped for a moment to notice some of the exotic other-worldly looking flowers that lined the shelves of every wall. “Wow! You definitely have a lot of selections to choose from. I am kinda in a rush I need a bouquet flowers to make a good impression for a first date.”

“Ok then straight to business then, how about a bouquet of 12 reds is pretty standard for a first date.” Samuel said pointing to large bouquet on the wall.

“Bino quickly glance at the flowers, “no those won’t do I need to also impress her parents too. Also she has a lot of flowers in her yard similar to those. I need something unique.”

“Well ok let’s see here, I know a trick that will help, give me your paw and close your eyes and picture her in your arms for me this won't take long I promise.” Samuel reached over the counter and extended his hand towards Bino.

Bino was in no position to argue. He gave the strange man a skeptical look as he extended his hand to meet Samuel’s. The moment their hands met Bino was overtaken by a strange feeling of weightlessness, his mind overflowed with images of Daisy. Samuel held Bino's paw for a moment before he removed his hand and placed it places on his chin. “Fascinating; black…is the color of flame that's captured your heart. Fortunately have just the thing for a special case like this.” Samuel walked to the end of the shop into the small room with a large metal door. “Stay put Bino I’ll be right back.”

Bino could only stand in silence as his mind tried to comprehend what just happened. “How does he know my name…?” Bino thought to himself staring at his paw. Only a moment later the short man emerged from the large steel doors carrying a large bouquet of black roses wrapped an enormous blue feather. “What do you think of these black roses for your black beauty?” Samuel winked at Bino with a large smile on his face. “Come; take a smell these are exceptionally rare I promise she'll be completely surprised.”

Bino poked his nose at the flowers giving them good sniff, the strange aroma was unlike anything he ever smelled before a mixture of mountain air and sea breeze permeated the outer petals while the inner smelled of honey and spice , a truly unique combination that gave the roses and intoxicating smell. “These are perfect I'll take them” Bino said excitedly.

“Excellent choice now these flowers would normally set you back about $150 but for you tonight only there are on the house.“ Samuel said with a grin as he handed flowers to Bino.

Bino closed his wallet and shot the man another skeptical look.” You sure about this… I mean there has to be a catch.”

Samuel rolled his eyes at the skeptical dog. “No catch no gimmicks. I'm just an old soul who is vested in love is that so hard to believe?’’

Bino felt slightly surprised by the strange man's answer. “I guess not. I love to stay and talk but I really need to get going thanks for the flowers” Bino waved goodbye as he exited the shop.

With flowers in hand Bino walked back across the street to the car where Jeremey was waiting for him. As Bino entered the car Jeremey turned to take a look at Bino's selection. “Oh I black rose’s an excellent choice, now you're finally ready to date my daughter.” Jeremey said with a smile as he pulled out the Walgreens parking lot. “How about one more song for the road Bino?” Before he had a chance to answer Jeremey already turned up the system “you know this one Bino?” Bino nodded “of course, he’s a K9 artist” Bino started to bob his head and started singing along with Jeremey.

5 minutes and four awkward stares later they finally returned to the neighborhood. Jeremey stopped one block before Daisy's house and instructed Bino to walk the rest of the way so they wouldn't be seen together. Bino understood what Jeremey was trying to do and exited the car with a smile thanking Jeremey one last time before he sped off.

4 minutes later Bino found himself back on the same hard wood porch staring at the door. Bino looked down at his watch it red 7:58 he had barely just made it. Bino reached up his hand and knocked on the door with confidence. The door immediately opened exposing Jeremey on the other side.

“Oh, hey you must be Daisy's friend here to take her out tonight.” He said with a sly smirk.

“Yep that’s me Is Daisy around?” Bino asked concealing the flowers behind his back.

“Yeah she's upstairs getting freshened up, won't you come in?”

Bino took a few steps inside the house and was immediately greeted by Rosie. Rosie rushed from the living room to meet the dog.

“AWWWW! He’s so cute” she said as she walked closer to Bino.

Bino offered a paw shake and was immediately lifted up in to a massive bear hug from Rosie. “And look he brought flowers too! What a little Casanova you are!” Rosie said while putting Bino back down on the ground. “My name is Rosie! What's yours?”

“It's Bino” he replied feeling slightly awkward by all the attention.

Rosie bent down on one knee and stared at Bino directly in the eyes “Well Bino I'm glad we met, you better take good care of Daisy. I trust Jeremey already told you the ground rules?”

Bino nodded silently with a pale expression on his face.

Rosie noticed Bino's pale expression and gently patted him on the back. “Don't worry we aren't bad people were just really protective of Daisy, and regardless of what Jeremey said we’d never throw you in the wood chipper especially now that the warranty is expired.” Rosie said half-jokingly.

Bino was on the verge of turning ghost white when Daisy into the room she had done her head-fur and had put a fancy silver-gold on. Bino couldn't help but stare. “"Um... Wow!... You look incredible, Daisy!"” were the only words he could muster.

“Well you don't look so bad yourself, and that new fur-do and tail job are amazing” Daisy said with a smile. Bino felt himself start to blush from the complement, and then remembered the flowers behind his back. He was trying to think of something cool to say but nothing came to mind. And then all the sudden he remembered the shopkeeper who gave him the flowers... Of course I'm a genius he thought to himself. Bino presented the flowers to Daisy and waited for her response.

"For me? Wow, they're beautiful! How did you know black roses were my favorite kind?” Bino smiled as he stared in Daisy's eyes “well you know the old saying black roses for black beauties.” Daisy was totally unprepared for such a complement and felt herself start to turn a little red.

She handed the flowers to Rosie and grabbed Bino by the arm and proceeded to walk out the door with him. ” Let's go! We don't wanna be late!” Daisy said giving Bino a slight nuzzle on the way out the door. As they were exiting the house the large black limousine pulled up.

“There’s our ride!” Daisy said still holding on to Bino. Bino's jaw dropped as he couldn't believe that they were actually going to be riding around in the limo. This day was just getting better and better!' he thought to himself as he walked with Daisy into the limousine.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Daisy stepped inside the limo still holding Bino’s hand and sat down on a large L-shaped sofa, which stretched from the back wall all the way for the middle, a large flat screen TV set on top of a long rectangular drink dispenser on the opposite side of the L-shaped sofa. Bino closed the door behind him and sat down right next to Daisy. “Wow! Daisy I can't believe you got us limo?” Bino's tail was wagging as hard ever; it made a well-paced thumping sound against the leather as if directed by a metronome. Daisy turned and looked Bino “so I take it this is your first limo ride then.”

Bino opened the drink dispenser and pulled out two cans of Pepsi he passed one to Daisy, before closing the dispenser door. “Yeah this is my first time ever riding in a limo. But judging by your expression you must travel this way all the time.”

Daisy tapped on the driver's window and gave him the hand signal took to go. ”It comes with being the best friend of the Miltons. Do try not to get too full on soda as our first tonight is dinner at Bellagio's” Bino nodded at Daisy he cracked his can open “Isn’t Bellagio's that brand-new Milton restaurant/fun park with the roller coaster, paintball field and five-star food?”

“I think it is, apparently tonight is the grand opening” Daisy reached inside the Golden envelope Luna gave her a pulled out brochure. “It also say’s; they have Go-Karts and a huge outdoor concert area.” Daisy continued searching through the Golden envelope. She pulled out two large tickets and started reading the title. “The Milton's present; F-Spawn Babylon 2011 featuring artists will be; Killswitch, Slayer, Rob Zombie, Manowar, Metallica and Ozzy Osbourne.”

“Wow! Daisy that sounds pretty intense. I can't believe you put all this together in one day” Bino grabbed the remote and turned it on and started flipping through the channels. “Daisy you wouldn't happen to like Spartacus blood and sand (Pet version) would you?”

Daisy leaned back in his seat “I can't say I have ever seen it”

Bino turned his head and smiled at Daisy “well it's really good if you don't mind blood and stuff and there are a few scenes where the dogs aren’t wearing collars but I just close my eyes for those parts”

“Sigh… males” Daisy thought to herself as she noticed how excited Bino sounded. “Well I guess; I'll try anything once and for the record I don't mind blood or nudity whatsoever as long as it’s tasteful.” “Okay” Bino scooted closer to Daisy and press the play button starting the show.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

50 minutes later.

Just as the credits started to roll the limousine pulled into the park and stopped at the red-carpet entrance. The driver quickly exited the car leaving the engine running. “I'm your ride home so just call me when you're ready to go. Luna said you should have my number in the cell phone she gave you this morning. ” The driver said while opening the door for the couple.

Daisy and Bino exited the limo, and held hands as they walked up the red carpet to the VIP check-in. Bino couldn't help but notice a familiar figure sticking out of the crowd. “Hey Daisy just a moment I need to check something.” Bino let go of Daisy's hand and walked towards the familiar figure with a sinister smile on his face. “Well if it isn't my favorite cat! How's it going Tiger, too bad I didn't know you're going to be here or I would've brought some catnip for you.” Bino said laughing.

Tiger let out a slight laugh as he reached over the velvet rope and grabbed Bino by the neck. He was immediately pulled off by his brother Marvin “Tiger calm down; I don't wanna get kicked out before we even enter.” Tiger pulled back and growled at Bino “I'll kill you! One day I swear it Bino, you’ll die by my hands.”

Bino jumped back from the velvet rope and caught up with Daisy who was waiting for him at the door. Daisy presented their tickets to the Ticket master. “All right Daisy and Bino here are your VIP tags just strap them to your collars and you’ll be good to go. Also please remember with your pass’s you don’t have to wait in any lines and all food and activities are covered. Have a great night! “

“Thank you.” Daisy and Bino attached her pass to her collar and entered the park. As they walked through the large doors of the park they could feel themselves being pulled in by the sweet salty smells of the various concession stalls caused both dogs months start to water. The soft glow of the late spring sunset was beginning to be overtaken by the bright lights that illuminated the park. The sounds of powerful machinery mixed with laughter echoed through the air in every direction. Bino and Daisy were both washed away by a strange feeling of excitement as they entrance to the park.

Daisy was the first to break out of the parks trance. “So Bino we have a half an hour till dinner, is there anything particularly you want to a new first?”

Bino looked around for a moment before pointing at a shooting gallery off in the corner “how about that over there.”

“The shooting gallery sounds fun, but I warn you I go hunting with my father three times a year.” Daisy stuck out her tongue she boasted.

Bino shot Daisy a sly grin. “Is that so… want to make a little wager?”

“You're on, what are the terms” Daisy replied

“Winner gets to pick what we do next and the loser has to grab snacks from one of the concessions stands.” Bino extended his arm to shake.

Daisy grabbed Bino's hand and shook it making it official. “I just hope you're ready to lose.”

Bino just smiled as he approached the shooting gallery. He tapped the half-asleep stall operator on the shoulder to get his attention. “Hey I’d like to go head-to-head and in a point match.” The stall operator got up from his chair and reset the scoreboard. “All right you two are set dog of the highest score in 3 min wins. Game starts after the first shot is fired have fun.” The stall operator tipped his hat back down and closed his eyes.

Bino and Daisy both grabbed the rifles and pointed the gun scope at the array of barnyard themed targets. “Ready… set… Go!” Bino yelled. And they both started firing downrange. Daisy started top firing and hitting every duck in a row and moved to the high-value targets in the corners. While Bino started firing mid-center hitting every barnyard cat animatronic he could. Bino couldn't help but feel pressured by all the lights and sounds are going off in Daisy's corner from all the high-value shots she was knocking back. He knew that if he was going to send a chance he would have to start hitting high-value targets himself. Before he know it there is only 6 seconds left and was down by 1500 points in an act of desperation he started firing at the near impossible targets striking two 750 point hummingbirds to tie the game sounding the sudden-death alarm causing the half-asleep stall operator get up. The stall operator grudgingly got up and hit the reset switch it on the machine “Looks like we gotta sudden-death her I'll explain the rules there pretty simple it's just like the game horse first one to miss loses sound fair?”

Bino smiled and looked at Daisy. “Ladies first.”

Daisy stuck out her tongue of Bino “I'm going to make you eat those words.” Daisy turned and pointed her rifle at animatronic alley cat picking in the tail for 900 points. ”Match that Bino.”

Bino took a deep breath as he reached for his weapon lifted the barrel and effortlessly shot the same target. “You're goin have to do a lot better than that to beat me. I believe it's my turned to pick the shot yes?” Bino scanned the whole shooting gallery and turned his barrel on the most difficult target a hovering and animatronic dragonfly. Bino took another deep breath and steadily aimed at the tiny moving object tracing its moves carefully he waited for the perfect moment to strike and then executed with unreal precision striking the right above the bull's-eye for 5000 points. “Beat that Daisy.”

Daisy's eyes were the size of dish pans “I… Can't beat that.” She thought to herself. As she raised her barrel and focused in on the tiny a moving object. She started to follow the object with her with her eyes slowly just as she was about to take her best shot she was interrupted.

“Stop… Daisy here let me help you.” Without waiting for a response he walked directly behind Daisy and grabbed her around the waist. “If you want a snowballs chance in hell of hitting that target you’re going to need to change your stance. Now bend over slightly spread your legs a little and keep your tail down” Bino took one hand off her hip and placed it under her rifle lifting it small bit. “Good now take a deep breath and release” Bino said while practically spooning her. Daisy was feeling slightly uncomfortable being positioned in such a way with Bino practically on top of her. Daisy’s mind wanted to say… get off… but her body… told her something completely different… The fight between Daisy’s mind and body dragged on for a long moment causing her to lose focus of her target.

Bino could feel Daisy began to tremble and noticed her barrel slightly swaying left to right. Bino took his other arm and wrapped it around Daisy chest giving it a tight squeeze to help stabilize her. ”Daisy just try to relax, keep your core tight and follow your target with your eyes.”

Daisy took a deep breath and concentrated on the small target. She waited for the exact right moment to squeeze the trigger BAAMMM! Daisy struck the tiny target dead center.

“Nice shot” Bino whispered in her ear still holding her. Daisy started the blush from the awkward position she was standing in. “Umm Bino… y-you could let go now.”

Bino was unsure why Daisy sounded so nervous until noticed the position he had her in. He immediately let go took a few steps back giving Daisy some space. Bino was now completely embarrassed. “I’m sorry Daisy. I didn’t mean to do that! Really!” Bino said has he felt himself start to blush. Daisy dropped her rifle and stepped away from the table. “It’s fine; How about we call it your win. I’ll go get us snacks and when I get back you can pick our next activity.”

Bino nodded and started walking towards a nearby park bench. He was worried he might have already ruined the evening. “What was I thinking? I wouldn’t be surprised if she didn't come back.” He thought to himself as he leaned back into the park bench and closed his eyes wishing he could turn back the hands of time.

A moment later had Daisy returned carrying a large soft drink with two straws and two enormous hotdogs. She sat down next to him and passed him a hot dog. “I hope you don't mind sauerkraut.”

Bino grabbed the hotdog and was about to take a bite when he stopped and looked at Daisy. “Daisy I just wanna let you know that I didn't mea…” Bino was interrupted by Daisy's finger as she pushed against his muzzle silencing him. “Relax I already said it’s alright” Daisy leaned in towards Bino and whispered in his ear “and I never said I didn't like it…” Daisy let out a slight giggle and turned her attention back to her hotdog.

Bino just sat there with a blank expression on his face. As he overwhelmed by a sudden strange feeling that started to pulse deep inside him like a second heart, each pulse sending warm heat-waves rushing throughout every inch his body. The feeling only intensified as he watched Daisy stuff her face.

Daisy had just finished her hotdog when she noticed Bino staring intensely at her. “What! Is there something stuck in my teeth?” Daisy quickly rubber her finger accosts her teeth. “Well did I get it?

Bino snapped out of it the feeling passed. “Must’ve just been gas.” he thought to himself as he refocused on Daisy. “Yea you got it Daisy.” Bino reached over and grabbed his hotdog “sauerkraut, mustard and jalapenos…how’d she know…”Bino thought to himself as he started to dig in.

Daisy couldn't help but smile at Bino's expression as she watched him eat. “So…Where to next?”

Bino almost finished with his hotdog stopped for a moment to look at Daisy. “How about we check of the go-karts?” Bino said with a mouthful of food.

Daisy stood from the bench and stretched “Alright that sounds fun. But I get to pick the next activity okay?”

Bino forced the rest of the hotdog in his mouth and flushed it with the remainder of the soda. “It's a deal” Bino said jumping off the bench.

Daisy stared at Bino anxiously “Umm Bino… Would it be okay if we held hands on the way there?” Bino nodded and grabbed her hand gently and proceeded to walk towards the go-kart staging area.

Bino and Daisy proceeded down the path to the go-kart staging area when they ran into Luna and the other Milton ferrets in the midst of a heated argument.

Keene looked rather upset “I thought we already agreed on paintball.”

Luna replied equally angry “No you agreed on Paintball…we wanted to do go-karts. “

Rock turned to Luna “who is this we are talking about I voted for paintball…”

“I vote we revote!” Pit yelled at the top of his lungs.

“That’s Dumb we already voted nine times…and tied nine times!” Keene was beginning to lose his patience “look let’s do one and then the other right after.” Keene said wile reaching for a can of orange soda Rock interrupted. “Fine then Vote we do Paintball first.”

Luna interjected. “No way! We should do Go-karts first….”

The argument continued…

Daisy walked over to Luna and taped her on the shoulder. “Hey Luna how’s it going?”

Luna turned and noticed Daisy and Bino. “Oh hi you two, I should be asking you the same thing are you guys having a good time?”

Daisy nodded. “Yea we are having a blast. Oh Bino I want to introduce to my best friend Luna. She’s the one who helped planned all the details of our date. “

“Is that so? Well then I guess I owe you.” Bino said has he extended his had to shake Luna’s.

Luna grabbed and shook Bino’s hand. “Well your welcome, Bino I am glad we can finally meet.”

“So Luna, what’s all the commotion over there about” Daisy asked with a curious expression.

Luna shook her head in frustration. “Well it’s kinda complicated. Simply put we all agreed to spend a day together because Mr. Steward thought our fortune might be drifting us apart. And now we are trying to decide what to do next… Half of us want to ride Go-Karts the other half wants to do paintball and no one wants to compromise.”

The squeaky sounds of the ferret’s argument starting to get to Bino causing him to grit his teeth “This is ridiculous” he let go of Daisy's hand and started heading for the arguing ferrets.

“Bino where are you going?” Daisy asked slightly puzzled.

Bino turned to look at Daisy and gave her a look that made her fur stand on end. “I am solving the problem… GODC style” Bino said with an evil smirk on his face. Bino picked up an abandoned paintball gun left on the ground and preceded towards the ferrets.

“Will you over-privileged rats shut the hell up!” Bino yelled as he unleashed quick bursts directly at the ferret’s feet intentionally missing all of them. Bino pushed himself through the silent ferrets “Good I see have gotten your attention then” Bino pointed the paintball rifle down and adjusted the PSI settings to max. “Now we are about engages in something I like to call hostile compromise. Does anyone disagree?”

Bino looked down at the six silently nodding heads. “I see you guys are good at this.”

Bino was interrupted by Keene “were not rats!”

Bino turned without looking and fired a single shot that launched Keene’s soda can out of his hand and 10 feet in the air. “Point taken, but I believe I still have the floor” Bino said with authority. Bino placed his hand on his chin and stretched it for a moment. “Bingo!” He thought to himself.

Bino felt an idea pop in his head so good he couldn't help but smile. “So let me get this straight, half of you want to do Go-Karts and the other half wants to have a game of paintball. Then the answer is simple… Do both…at the same time” Bino stopped to gauge the reaction of the ferrets.

Keene removed his sunglasses and looked directly at Bino. “That's… That might just work but how?”

“Easy, just like Mario go-kart! We break up into groups of two and share a double kart. One gunner and one driver each winner is one across the finish line first! Well what you think?”

Keene let out a sly smile. “Dangerous…reckless…overboard… It's perfect! How about we put up for a vote guys?”

Luna started the vote “Anyone not in favor of Bino’s idea please say I”

“Looks like we have a winner then, just one question Bino how to we pick teams?” Keene said excitedly.

Luna grabbed a piece of paper off the ground started writing on it. “I got it, give me just a second.” She walked towards Pit grabbed his hat and sprinkled the tiny shreds of paper in it. “In this hat is everyone's name pick one and whoever you pick is your partner.”

Luna passed the hat around to everyone making sure that only picked one name and no one was peaking. “Okay let's see here we got, me and Daisy, Keene and Bino, Simon and rock, and finally Pit and Duke. All right everything seems in order I'm a go talk to the ride operator I'll be right back. ”

A moment later Luna returned from talking to the ride operator. “Okay guys good news is he's gonna be able to do it for us, bad news it’s to take a few hours to make modifications to the Go-Karts. He said the issue be done by the end of the concert.”

Keene reached down and grabbed another orange soda “Okay, then it settled we meet back here after the concert over.”

Daisy grabbed Bino's arm and started walking “that's fine it’s almost for us to get to our reservation anyway. See you guys after the concert!” Daisy said as started heading towards Bellagio's with Bino.

Didn't see the update! A lot of things updated or got commented on today and yesterday, lost this one in between it all.

Too tired to read right now, but I'm sure it'll be good.

Great update man! Sorry I didn't see it sooner!

You were a bit over the top with the plain spokenness... (ie the curse words)

It was a good overall story! I like it, dude!

finally after 4 rewrites countless revisions and enough RL drama to choke a whale I have finally completed this update. I'm terribly sorry for the extreme of time it's been since my last update. and I'd like give a special thanks to my buddy Copper whose efforts and in aiding me have been Instrumental.

Chapter 9

Daisy was still holding Bino’s hand as they approached the large two-story restaurant “Wow! would you look at this place Bino it’s huge!” Daisy said excitedly staring at the extravagant door.

“Yeah those Milton's never do anything on the cheap I wouldn't be surprised if this door costs more than the GODC's annual maintenance budget.” Bino said with a smirk as he opened the door for Daisy.

As soon as Bino opened the door they were greeted by a rush of cold air that carried the smells of many different kinds meat cooking in the background, the sudden bombardment of smells caused both dogs tails to spontaneously wag. As the couple entered the restaurant they were welcomed by a well groomed man holding a large clipboard.

“Hello welcome Bellagio's my name is Dennis, do you have a reservation? “He asked while taping his clipboard.

“Hi, my name is Daisy! Yes we have a reservation for two.” Daisy said as she reached in her collar to brandish her reservations and passed them to the greeter.

The greeter inspected the reservations carefully. “Oh I see you’re with the Milton's, this way please!” Dennis circled the names up on his clipboard and proceeded to escort the couple up a flight of stairs and down an extravagant hallway into a softly lit contemporary room, that featured a lustrously two-story aquarium which towered from the bottom floor all the way to the top ceiling, illuminating the room with a dazzling cerulean tent that brilliantly reflected off the polished ultra-contemporary accents causing them to slightly glow in the dim light. Dennis continued walking until he reached a rather intimate balcony table that overlooked the bottom floor and aquarium.

“Well here's your table I hope its to your liking.” Dennis said with a deep sense of pride.

“Wow! This table is unbelievable Luna way out did herself this time” Daisy said staring at Bino who looked equally amazed at the decor.

“Well I'm glad you’re happy a great deal of preparation was made for this occasion, speaking of which Ms. Luna had already taken the liberty of ordering for you two, and your food should arrive shortly.” Dennis smiled as he seated both Bino and Daisy.

“I'm not sure I like the idea of someone else ordering for me” Bino said as he looked at Dennis cynically.

Dennis replied slightly annoyed with a face that resembled someone who just bitten directly into a lemon. “The utmost of care was taken preparing your meal tonight; in fact Luna herself appointed me to ensure both of you had the best meal of your life’s, and I'll have you know I went through the trouble to have the great Bobby Flay kidnapped ... ERRR I mean commissioned to prepare your meals tonight.”

Daisy placed her paw on Bino's shoulder giving it a gentle squeeze. “I wouldn't worry too much about it Luna has impeccable taste, anyway if Luna put half as much effort into choosing our meals as she did choosing our table, then there's no way we're going to leave hungry.”

Bino still slightly annoyed gently pushed Daisy's arm off his shoulder, he hastily sat down on his chair and let out a sigh comfort as the plush black leather chair engulfed him from all sides, a long oval slick laid parallel towards the back cushion allowed his tail to easily slip between the thick cushions and out the back of the chair. The sudden and unexpected comfort caused Bino's expression to change into something far more sociable. “Fine I guess you have a point.” Bino said reluctantly starting at Daisy. Bino seamlessly shifted his attention back to Dennis. “ Well then make with the food already, and so help me if a salad walks up those stairs be prepared to sweep it off the floor.” Bino said with a serious expression.

Dennis nodded in acknowledgment as he turned away and began down the hallway. His departure was hastily interrupted by Daisy who had a sudden and familiar urge that needed attending to. “Hey, Dennis, before you go, can you tell me where your pet friendly restrooms are?”

“The VIP bathroom is on this floor. Four rooms on the left next to the large platinum statue of Pit. Would you like assistance finding it?"

Daisy partially embarrassed replied. “No thanks! I'll manage, thank you.” And she stood up from extravagant chair. “I’ll be back shortly, please try not to get into too much trouble Bino.” Daisy said with a suggestive wink that might have normally caused Bino to be slightly hot under the collar if were not for him being entirely distracted by the massage function built into the chair.

Moments later Daisy was returning from her personal affairs in the restroom when her ear caught a familiar sound down the lobby that caused her to pause in place. “Lana?” Daisy thought to herself. Daisy stood there and continued listening as she tried to make out the voices she was hearing.

“I am sure glad you could make it tonight… I'm really sorry I missed your birthday, Mr. Steward has been shifting more responsibility my way I really wish I could've attended.”

“You didn't miss much; as usual my brothers ruined it for me”

“Oh I'm terribly sorry to hear that. What's your brother's problem anyway? ”

“He's a selfish self-centered jerk who doesn't care about anyone at least on the outside that is, I really think he actually needs a friend, he really doesn't have any. But I rather not talk about my brother right now I'd rather talk about you… -”. The mysterious voice was cut off and replaced with an inaudible moan that was almost lost in the thick velvet curtain that concealed the private booth.

Daisy could only stand still in silent contemplation as she tried to put two and two together. She knew the female voice was Lana’s but no idea about the males. Daisy couldn't believe it the notion that Lana would have a secret boyfriend not tell her about him, the thought caused Daisy's head to spin with emotions. “I thought she was my best friend why would she keep this from me, did I do something to cause her not to trust me?... No There must be some reason why she didn't tell me about him.”

Daisy slightly raised her nose in the and air closed her eyes and began to concentrate allowing her powerful scent receptors to work their magic. “A dog... No smaller… a predator no… it can’t be a cat… “And then it struck her “it’s a rabbit … But there’s something different about him. I can’t put my nose on it… could it be the Opener of ways!... No that’s impossible!.. He shouldn't exist in this plane.” Daisy felt a cold chill crawl down her spine and through her tail causing her to violently shiver. “If he truly is the opener of ways then it’s my duty to slay him before he ascends…” Daisy thought to herself as she clenched her fist and began to growl. She grabbed the thick velvet curtain to pull it down but was frozen in place by what transpired next.

“Zach… I love you, I have something I have been wanting to ask you for a while… Zach would you make me happiest ferret in the world and agree to be my mate?…" You could come live with me in the mansion… You could be a Milton. ”

“L-Luna… I would be I mean yes! I love you Luna… This last year with you has been the best of my entire life, and I’d love to share the rest of it with you.

“No he can't be …” Daisy let out a sigh of relief as she unclenched her fist and released the thick velvet curtain letting the smooth black silky textured curtain slowly glide down her palm and silently hit the floor.

“The opener of ways is supposed to be a being of inconceivable horror… There's no way such a being could say that with such sincerity… I need to keep a close eye on this if he really is the opener of ways then I’ll have no choice but to exterminate him.” With that passing thought, Daisy turned around and returned back to her table for dinner.

Daisy returned to the table just in time to get a glimpse of Dennis approaching with two large covered plates of food. The large metal tops that cover the plates successfully masked the smell from Daisy's nose causing her to convey a slight look of the noticeable curiosity as she approached her chair to sit.

Bino turned his attention from Dennis and the two large plates and focused on Daisy. “Let me guess the tree was busy huh”. Bino said with a halfhearted laugh as he reached for his spoon in preparation.

Daisy replied with a suggestive wink “Well us girls take longer Bino.” Daisy sat down and grabbed her silverware in preparation for the upcoming meal.

Only a moment after Daisy sat down did Dennis reach the couple’s table carrying two large silver plates. “I am terribly sorry for the delay our guest chef was having motivational problems, but I can assure you desert will be on time.” Dennis smoothly placed both plates in front of the couple still keeping one hand on each lid. “For tonight's main entrée we have a 21 meat salute containing over 21 different kinds of meat ground up and served rare with Bobby Flay's signature sweet and spicy mango salsa. It is to be enjoyed with our homemade Dog biscuits formulated to cater for your unique physiological needs as well is to aid in digestion, lastly our bacon wrapped salad ensures you get your greens in the tastiest way possible. And to drink we have a bottle of Malibu’s finest ultra-premium Passion Orange Drink.” Dennis simultaneously lifted both plate covers unleashing a well-orchestrated symphony of smells that both tangled and entrapped, the mixture of subtle and strong smells intertwined in a light brown hillock mash surrounded by a ring of bacon wrapped greens that sat around the edges of the brown hill like mash as if it were a 16th-century moat. The aroma was simply too much to bear and without waiting for Dennis to finish pouring their drinks did both dogs savagely attack their plates. The sounds of the two dogs savage grunting and joyful moans resonated through the upper terrace catching the ears of many other couples causing many awkward stares or the inevitable I'll have what they're having conversation. Everything was perfect from the 21 well-seasoned meats to the passion Orange drink that was strong enough to give a buzz without inducing intoxication. The lack of formal dinner conversation didn't seem to bother either dog as they were too preoccupied with what they would both remember as the single greatest meal of their lives.

Daisy with her ruthless efficiency finished her meal first. Bino would've been done before Daisy if not for the frequent and awkward pauses he made to stare at Daisy while she ate. Bino still feeling the same strange sensation that had been intriguing him earlier at the shooting gallery and later on the bench, and although Bino had been with Daisy for the majority of the evening he just had taken the time to notice the finer features of Daisy. Her raven black fur concealed a well-disguised inner of layer muscle that is easy for the eyes to miss at first glance but becomes increasingly more apparent when she moves. Her scent was sharper and more potent than most other females and carried with it a certain unrestrained element that was heavily reminiscent of the outdoors. But it was her haunting yellow eyes that Bino found the most captivating, they were large and bright like the afternoon sun with a depth deep enough to have its own gravity.

Daisy couldn't help but notice Bino's intense gaze at the dinner table causing her to feel slightly awkward. “What do I have something stuck in my teeth?”

“No it's nothing like that it's … just I-was just noticing… I Mean… you are extremely attractive” Bino said slightly nervous.

Daisy couldn't help but slightly blush at the sudden compliment. “Thank you Bino and I find you quite handsome myself especially with your new highlights.” Daisy replied with a slight giggle as she reached for her glass giving it a slight sip before putting it back down. “By the Way I've been meaning to ask you something since the shooting gallery. How does you ever become such a good marksman or is that some GODC secret?”

Bino let out a slight belch as he finished his plate before answering Daisy's questions. “No it’s not a club secret or anything like that, a few years ago I found a BB gun stuffed in a Bush by my house it was wrapped in a fancy box and was addressed to me but had no from who on it. I had it for many years before Jeff took away… after I almost put out Max’s eye...”

Daisy laughed with a twisted smile. “Something tells me Maxwell deserved it”.

Bino joined Daisy in the twisted laugh. “He sure did, I woke up one morning to find him using my favorite Bush!”

Daisy gasped “Your favorite bush! Forget putting out an eye, I would have skinned him alive for that!” Daisy reached into her collar and pulled out a watch to check the time. “You know Bino if we left right now we could catch a small ride for the concert.”

Bino nodded and got out of his chair and proceeded with Daisy to the exit.

Bino and Daisy were standing directly outside the large two-story restaurant when Bino stopped and turned to Daisy. “I believe it's your turn to pick the ride so what do you want to do next?”

Daisy stopped and looked around for something exciting yet gentle as she did not want to throw up her incredible meal, that’s when Daisy’s eyes caught a familiar attraction in the distance. “I don't suppose you'd like to go on a Ferris wheel would you?”

Bino smiled and nodded in agreement as he subconsciously grabbed Daisy's hand and begin walking in the direction of the Ferris wheel.

The walk to the Ferris wheel was a brief, and the late evening breeze that gently blew behind the two made it a rather comfortable one. The silent walk was less awkward than appreciated giving both dogs more than adequate time to appreciate each other's finer and more subtle nuances. Bino and Daisy brandished their passes to the ride operator before taking a seat in the mostly empty Ferris wheel.

Bino waited until the ride started to move to break the silence. “You know Daisy … losing that bet to you the other night was one of the best things to happen to in me and a long time, and I'm really glad we got to do this.”

“Me too…” Daisy replied blushing

Bino began to inch closer to Daisy's side of the booth. “Daisy,… Now that we have a little privacy there's something that's been on my mind for the last few hours,… As you may know next month is the GOCD’s annual summer festival, and I'd like to know if you'd be willing to accompany me?”

Daisy paused for a moment she could hardly believe she was getting asked out to one of the largest events of the year. “I'd love to Bino, but... I can't” Daisy said with a disheartened tone.

Bino quickly replied “I don't understand! Why can't you?”

“I just can't, okay… Not after the way those other dogs treated me… Please, Bino, don't get me wrong-it's not you it's the other dogs,…” Daisy melancholy tone carried a weight that caused Bino to pause momentarily, she knew the topic would come up some day but had no idea it would be on her first date. “I might as well come clean with you, you deserve that much. See, Bino, I was… born Feral” Daisy turned and looked away from Bino she couldn’t bear to see the expression on his face.

Bino put his arm on Daisy's shoulder and slightly pushed her head his direction. All it took was one look at her tearful eyes for him to fully understand “Daisy…”

Daisy turned to Bino "I’m so sorry… I should have told… you ... Bino, I-"

Bino felt something deep within him start to bubble to the top, something unknown, yet familiar, something feral. Before more words could escape from Daisy’s mouth, Bino yanked her closer, forcing their muzzles together and covered her mouth with his in a potent kiss.

Daisy was caught entirely off guard by Bino’s sudden embrace; his strong pull locked both into place causing Daisy to let out a slight whimper from the rough treatment, followed by muffled moan of pleasure as Bino kissed her. Bino's kiss wasn't just intense, it was dominating. He wasn't just kissing her, he was taking possession of her, claiming her as his own and she willingly submitted. Daisy closed her eyes as she felt the world around her disappear. Nothing else mattered. No one else existed. It was just there two hearts in unison separate from the universe. He had kissed her. Her first kiss. She could hardly believe It. It was better than anything she could have imagined .

After what seemed like forever, Bino opened his eyes and broke the kiss, he wiped off a small strand of saliva that connected their muzzles before speaking. “I hope you know this makes you officially my girlfriend and as such no one- not even my own brothers would be allowed to treat you any differently.” Bino smiled as he gazed deeply into Daisy's eyes, catching himself in their reflection.

“Bino, I accept!” Daisy said as she grabbed Bino By the collar and pulled him back into her muzzle. Daisy let out a passionate growl that reverberated through her body as she leaned in and fired back at Bino with a kiss of her own. Daisy’s Kiss was wild. What she lacked in experience she made up for with sheer intensity, Bino could only sit motionless as he felt his Body freeze up and his mind begin to blank, reducing him to his most Primal of states. She held him there for a moment before breaking the kiss giving his mind a moment to reboot. “… Now it’s official.” Daisy said with a huge smile as she placed her head in Bino’s chest and watched the late evening sunset retreat behind the horizon and give way to the starry nightfall that encompassed the sky.

funny you should ask, originally was actually Marvin-Lana but after some heated debate with a colleague, it was decided that using Zach would make slightly more sense than Marvin-furthermore it saves me the trouble of having to make another original character for certain plot devices in the future.
I don't intend to actually spend much time at all using Zach-Lana any type of romantic sense.
As much as this is foreshadowing for a difficult decision Daisy will have to make later between for filling her own obligations or betraying a her dearest friend...

So you have an adviser ;) They always come in handy when you have some doubts or when you're stuck at some point.

You're doing a good job, Kondog :) Only the kissing part was a bit over PG-13 I think.

Might want to watch your wording, the last paragraph takes things a little -too- close to the edge. I understand your trying to show it's a big kiss, but the wording pushes things a bit much.

Indeed, the last paragraph is a bit questionable. Make sure you're not writing outside the forum rules, eh?

Actually, I wrote the last two paragraphs with the intention of getting close to the edge. And judging by your double reactions I have to say mission accomplished! Don't get me wrong I have no intention of breaking any rules here, however I am one of those people that really enjoy walking the razors edge in life and my fan fiction will reflect that philosophy. - however I will try to be slightly more careful with my updates.

No, it's not okey KizerZin. Dancing on the line between okey and not okey gets stuff deleted and people in trouble. Kondog isn't a example it's par for the course.

People have gotten in trouble, big trouble in the past who had that same mindset as you. Don't be slightly more careful, be careful if your going to share your fanfics here.

I say as long as he's careful enough to not go over the edge, it's alright. tons of kids shows have things that are close enough to the edge so as to entertain adults but far enough that the kids won't notice anything.

I guess it for future references I may have to change my wording a little bit in regards to the romantic scenes, however I don't anticipate having very many more romantic scenes in this fiction as that was "the big one." from a content point of view I'm still not 100% sure why the last two paragraphs have caused so much controversy. The last two paragraphs were written with the rules in mind and furthermore was edited and reviewed by another mod no less than three times before posting many details were cut from the scene (I'm very thankful for that now). I do not intend on arbitrarily pushing the boundary lines week after, that's not why I write -

furthermore I would greatly appreciate it if you mods would PM me your comments or concerns on the matter oppose to a public forum so that I could ask more delicate questions and a less public environment.

Good point. In the future if their are issues, you will be privately contacted instead of a public confrontation.
