Photoshopping Housepets!
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Nice job, renato!
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Well, it seems that Milton Media Production's marketing division want to be absolutely sure about the movie we are gonna see
on Openermas eve
-- Where The Love-Light Gleams - the Movie - 2 -- You can see the Hi-Res billboard alone clicking here
Appears also that advertisement department (the few survivors) corrected an unbelievable omission from the cast
EDIT: corrected a typo, added a link

Beautiful job coloring, renato.

Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Wow, very nice. The colors are perfect. Plus the rosy glow in the background... And they lived happily ever after.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Why, thanks a lot, it's always a pleasure to work behind Rick's inks
Anyway, sometimes I'm little more intrusive...
A few months ago I haveslightly modified vandalized one of Rick's strips, trying to
compensate my lack of drawing skills with my minimal ability with GIMP.
Due to the sensible theme, I found myself stuck in the ethernal dilemma: to post or not to post...
Unable to find an answer, I asked for a sign from a higher entity, and a sign came!
It took the form of a PM saying "I think that's fine!"
Point of view - You know, there are infinite points of view
Thanks for all, Rick

You know, this is probably one of the best ones I have seen so far. I just love this strip.renato wrote:Why, thanks a lot, it's always a pleasure to work behind Rick's inks

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
There was gonna be a catnip arc? Hm. I don't remember anything about that. Then again, I read the whole comic in 2 months so there is that.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Haha, I think Max should cut down a bit on the nipping. ;Drenato wrote:Why, thanks a lot, it's always a pleasure to work behind Rick's inks

In fact I think he has, he appears to be rather healthy these days.

Why are Grape and the text backwards. Somebody care to explain?

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Oh yeah... That makes sense.
Does the Furret REALLY think that they aren't gonna nip again off-panel? Just look at Max.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Does someone have an image of puppy Fox posing with the rising sun in the background from this strip? I need it for the ficcie plz.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
If you need a waaay bigger version you have to wait a little, as it's only available as B&W at the moment.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
If I didn't like Kevin so much or if Fox was more muscular, I would totally have my character fall for him. xD
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
I still say Fox looks like a bird in that picture, hence, he should be with Pete.Amazee Dayzee wrote:If I didn't like Kevin so much or if Fox was more muscular, I would totally have my character fall for him. xD
But he really does look like a bird in that picture.
While we are on the subject of Fox, I remembered something. I made this a while ago, though, not sure I should put it here. If it isn't allowed, tell me and I will take off the picture.
I wanted to make this a picture of Fido, but I couldn't find a good enough image, so Fox was chosen...
EDIT: I removed the picture, if you really want to see it, here is the link. It is probably rated PG-13.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Not sure the cigarette is very appropriate - but it is ironic considering one of the pieces higher up on the page is a colored version of the catnip arc cancellation.
Plus smoking isn't as cool as it used to be - now that it's common knowledge that it kills.

I was also thinking about that after I posted it.Douglas Collier wrote:Not sure the cigarette is very appropriate - but it is ironic considering one of the pieces higher up on the page is a colored version of the catnip arc cancellation.

Yeah. The cigarette just makes Fox look ridiculous.

Bwahahahaha! That is so funny! I hope Zach can last through the whole song!
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
From what I can tell, Rick cancelled it himself almost as soon as it started, as it went into PG-13 territory with how it portrayed catnip.Amazee Dayzee wrote:There was gonna be a catnip arc? Hm. I don't remember anything about that. Then again, I read the whole comic in 2 months so there is that.
I'm not sure if I like Spider-Man more or Jessica more because of this.MrNeonShot wrote:Just thought I'd drop this here.
You know what, BOTH!
You know, she does seem to have a bit of his wit.

Also, I had no idea how easy it was to recolor images with the recoloring tool. recoloring took me, like, 2 seconds.
The rest, though... Adding fire and cropping the heads. Jeepers!
Me, too! xDAmazee Dayzee wrote:Bwahahahaha! That is so funny! I hope Zach can last through the whole song!
Anyways, I actually love the way Jessica hangs here, so along with making her my icon I also made another parody of Zack and Jess hanging.
This one was a lot harder than the other one, but it was extremely fun ^^

Anyone have a picture of Bailey's full body? I can't find a good one anywhere for what I want to make.
