I just got myself caught up: Completely and totally awesome, Teh Brawler.

I'm not the kind of guy that gets caught up emotionally in stories that much, but this story is hitting all the right notes for me. You made me laugh, you made me cry, you made me happy and you made me sad. Absolutely awesome. And King and Sasha are adorably akward but ADORABLE NONETHELESS! But getting back with Bino.... blechh...

Just kidding though, but really.

I'm really anticipating the next update. This is beyond good.

Wow, that was such a nice story. It was nice to finally see King get something from being a Corgi. His suffering has finally paid off (well, sort of). I can almost see Sasha and King together, they make a nice couple. Great work!

Rex gave King a gingerbread man, as you said.

At the end, it was a gingerbread dog.

We know Pete made them...or at least can assume that.

King dropped, broke, and put the half-eaten gingerbread in the bin.

Almost there, I think it's means something closer to the story. At first, King wanted to be a human, as he always does. As Sasha broke the cookie, one can assume this is also the start of King's 'wanting to be human' side braking. As the events follow, and Fox finds the cookie, it is whole and in the shape of a dog. My oppinion is that King doesn't want to be human anymore. This is a way of saying King is happy being a dog. Pete just made sure the gingerbread followed the story along with King. I believe that there's something more about how the gingerbread is whole again...but I'm out of thought as of why.

Honestly, I could be thinking too hard, but I'm happy with my oppinion.

Very, VERY close. I'd say he still wants to be human, but not only is that fading, but he is solidifying his position in the neighborhood as a dog. Also, yes, the dog is Pete.

Shoot, forgot to include the fact that Pete didn't make the cookie, per se, he just transformed it from the broken man. Follow the transition:
1. Whole man. Basically, Joel.
2. Broken man. Joel transforming into King, but still wanting to be human.
3. Whole dog. King solidifying his place as a dog both mentally (losing the desire to become human again, though this hasn't happened completely yet), and socially (interacting with the other animals to the point where leaving would be too much of a blow)
