For the next set of banners, it's four new ones, one variant on one of the new ones, and three of the ones that were the wrong size resized for these forums. That makes them kind of short, but I suppose it doesn't really matter much.

Pretty much!

Although, if you want to get elaborate, you can play with changing the colors, editing pixels, resizing, filling in missing bits, and all the other things you can do playing with graphics software.

I think that drawing your own by hand and scanning them in counts as "fan art" too! Sadly, my actual artistic skills are appallingly bad...

Marvin is all purple. His eyes are purple, his collar is purple, so I decided that both the background and the letters should be purple. It's just Marvin's color.

I'm just loving all these sigs and stuff, you guys get the job done

How do you make these?
I wanna make one!!

It's easy. You draw a background, paste an image from a comic, add text, and that's it .

A lot of people use Photoshop, but I use Paint.NET.

GIMP for me

Yes, I use Photoshop...but that doesn't mean I don't use other things like GIMP. In fact, I made that smoking sig in gimp, which I can't do in photoshop. Making a signature is very easy, but that doesn't mean you can't put little effort and expect something good.

I smacked a tutorial together, It will go trough the basics.
I made it in 30 minutes, so it's a bit chaotic, sorry
