I don't have it, and it's pretty expensive, but I can probably get it on Thursday when I get my last paycheck. It seems to be one-time purchase, not subscription based, so I think I can afford it.

Yes, it's a one time purchase. You could wait for a sale, that's how I got mine.

But don't feel like you're obligated to do so if you don't want to.

If I want to help, I probably need it. Also, I can use it for other computer projects that I will be working on.

I have VX Ace, it should be able to import stuff from other rpg makers, i'd say try that.
If I hit someone with a dictionary is that physical, or verbal assault?

I have an extra copy of VX Ace, I could send it to you through Steam to let you get acquainted with the program. Just PM me your email.

How it's progressing?

I wonder if the actual game will have a 100-floor temple like in the comic? I know that is way down the line. I'm sure it'll be similar to the tower.

Speaking of tower, will there be another set of floor soon?

The worst part is, she's not off the mark. We tried soliciting for new team members. Some showed interest on the Discord, but they haven't gotten back to us.

Speaking of, yes, we've been having talks on a private Discord chat, and even those have slowed down. If you know of any possible takers, could you bring them over?

In the meantime, made this as both practice, and to remind any followers I have on DeviantArt that we're still determined to make this a thing.

*Foaming at the mouth* (I´m kidding, obviously)

Someone else is making a Cat and Dog themed Jrpg?! I am not ALONE!!!!

I have ideas for the game, which I would be willing to donate. Or, I could make my own game, and put small references to this one? I dunno, lol. But when I get the chance, I am playing this demo for sure!

You're making one yourself?

Anyway, thanks for the show of support. Hope you enjoy what we got.
While we're having a difficult enough time getting the various pieces that we already have together, I'm willing to listen to more ideas if you want.

Eh, it's impressive enough it hasn't died yet. I mean it's gone stagnant like half a dozen times in the last 2 years.

I think it's less a case of being alive, and more a case of the same three people pulling a Frankenstein on it repeatedly.

The idea is there, but at this point we would have to start all over again to get a better idea on how to do this. We were not on track. We need to have clear goals in this game.

That being said, I like to see us take another shot at making the game someday if we're lucky. Would be awesome if we can at least make a Housepets RPG.

And yes, I realize it's sad that it's taken so long, but at least it allowed several ideas to be available in the meantime to stitch together.

Geez, good thing this wasn't a Kickstarter project, when those fail, they fail hard.

Question from Team Babylon: which palette of the HP characters do you prefer. Those on the team all seem to be in agreance with which we prefer, but we'd still like to ask anyway.

Personally I prefer more saturated colors, so I like the old ones a little more.

That said, they both look fine.

I believe this is the 3rd redo of the sprites I've done? When we switched to RPG maker MV I made completely new ones. It was due to the size changes and the old ones not being directly up-scaleable. I originally just made a bigger version of them but then I just completely re-did em cause I realized the bigger pixels meant we could match closer to the comic, they were also easier to make.
