Oh, a soundproof barrier? That doesn't make the call sound like a trap at all, amirite?

Re: The Not-So Dynamic Duo
Hm, and now guess who will misinterprest some of Homer's wording due to the barrier's interference and screws up on an option..?

Yeah, I kinda rushed through this one, so the quality may be a little subpar. But hey, gotta move the story along, right?

Papillon!
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.
Re: The Not-So Dynamic Duo
Oh, well, King had two choices and for him was easy pick the right one... Holly is having three, instead, and they all have compromises. The third one sounds to be the best, and it's for her father. But, speaking of choices, Heidi always picks the correct ones...

I like how Homer feels the need to explain himself on that one. Pretty sure no one saw that coming.

I think that by now she is secretly Homer's little sister. Not ever *wanting* to cause problems, she is carrying out Homer's plans so smoothly...Whatever happens, she is SO going to be eaten by remorse for a long time to come.

In my haste/stupor, I misread my notes and have to change the acronym. I'll fix it later (you saw nothing).
(Edit) I fixed my silly mistake. No one will ever know

To those who may be reading this little series, yes I am still alive. I've just been terribly busy and will probably be inert here for the rest of the year. Thanks for your patience. It's far from perfect, but I hope you've enjoyed this fanfic so far.

Sometimes you just have to admit when something else needs to take priority. Good luck with whatever it is.

All that chaos made a sort of building, that's really weird. Ahah, Heidi never knows anything. So, they decided to go up the elevator instead to remain there, and maybe it was their best choice... Poor chicken Pete.

...Echo?
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Oh, i'm well aware, that doesn't mean it can't also be Echo though.

When considering that a former demi-god(s) was sprung from a jack-in-a-box, a dog was turned into a human, and Other Daryl was enchanted into a mighty behemoth that throws jello pokeballs, why should anything make sense anymore?

There will always be a time when you stop questioning things. How fast you reach that point is dependent on how stubborn or cynical you are.
Also, considering what we know of what could happen to Charlie, that adorable puppy from the previous strip has a sadder meaning.

So very true. Even Pete, despite his demi-godly knowledge, has his limit before feeling silly bothering to question this story and its mind-numbingly absurd turns.D-Rock wrote:There will always be a time when you stop questioning things. I assume that you are referring to this Charlie (https://www.housepetscomic.com/forums/v ... f=8&t=3898)? Admittedly, I haven't had time to read through it all the way, but it looks very interesting. I hope things go well for Charlie (never lose hope little guy).
Anyway, here's a little something for Easter: another WIP of
