hey guys I am going to try a new little fanfic and i want to know how you think it is. not sure on rating but i will guess it's around PG to PG-13.

A female brown cat looked up at the falling night, she saw the retreating brown clouds heading to the mountains in the distance. The landscape is drenched in rain from the wake of those clouds, and the air is cold and still. She sighed looking at a mark on her left arm.

She heard a noise behind near a building, her heart beats slowly as she concentrates around for the source of the noise.

"Little kittens shouldn't be out at night by themselves." a voice said from behind her. The cat tensed up ready to dart any direction away from this voice.

"Leave while you still can, Akira." the voice said. Akira looked turned quickly around, but all she could she was darkness. She prepared herself, she smiled to herself.

"Come and get me." she said.

A rustle came from across the street, Akira saw a human run to her with a knife sticking out. She dodged quickly to left and ran as quickly as she could to a side street nearby. "You can't from me, Akira." the human said.

The cat stopped, "No, but I can fight you." she quickly turned around and ran towards the human at incredible speeds even for a cat, she jumped up and front-flipped on the human's head. She turned around in mid-air and got out her dagger. She then landed on a car and threw the dagger to the human. She saw the human block it with the knife, she then jumped off the car and unto the street.

"Not bad, we can use people like you, Akira." the human said, then the hood came off revealing a young women with green eyes. "Cats like you come once in a lifetime." she said, then she ran quickly to Akira.

Akira thought fast then saw a gas pipe, she threw a dagger at the pipe and ran away as quickly as she could, the pipe exploded, blowing up the car nearby. The human took cover behind a SUV, "She's a quick one, but we will catch her." she said.

so how was it?

I don't think throwing a knife at a gas pipe would make it explode. not unless there was an ignition source nearby.
but this looks exciting so far.

so here is my next part

Akira ran down a long winding alleyway with no one else in sight, only herself. She was whistling a song while flipping a pipe around, she then heard a car coming up on the street. In it was a dog and a different human driving it, "Akira did you find what you want?" he asked while grinning.

Akira's expression remained neutral, "I was trying to find a cat that was staying here." she looked back behind, "looks like he's gone." The dog's grin disappeared quickly, "Get in."

They drove across the snow-covered forests of Saskatchewan, the cold air made the morning sky look fresh, and the Canadian wilderness look devoid of civilisation, Akira looked out of the car window and fell asleep as it began to snow again.

The dog shook her awake, "we are here." Akira looked out the window to see the city of Saskatoon, her hometown.

The wintry snow made Saskatoon looked like a world white and shiny, people walking down the sidewalks, some with pets. Akira had lived in Saskatoon with her brother, Balto, a mix of husky and German shepherd and her human owner, Kyra for three years.

Akira loved her family, they rescued her from a shelter when she was a kitten and she has been really close to them. She was a shy, mysterious cat with a history she rather not tell to her family.

Balto looked smitten, "so, what were you doing again?" he said. Akira looked away from her brother, Balto frowned, "Akira!" he said angrily.

She shrugged and picked up a book called "Saki", Balto droned. "Still? with the manga?" he said. Akira didn't reply. "Fine, you still a geek to me though." he said before Kyra put he back to his seat again.

They arrived at their apartment, and Akira sat down on the couch, Balto looked at her. "Hey! it's my spot!" he said. Akira simply waved him off, he then grumbled and went to their bedroom. "Akira?" Kyra said, she sat down next to her, "is everything okay?"

Akira continued watching TV, "Yes." she said aimlessly, Kyra remained on the couch petting Akira as they watched the television, Balto then came in. "Hey, mom?" Kyra looked at him, "Can we go outside?" he said, Kyra sighed, "No, Balto it's 5 below, you're going to be freezing." he sighed then sat down next to them.

Akira looked down at the parking lot as she always did looking for trouble, and it did. She saw two humans in black suits and blacked out glasses walking to the apartment. "Uh, mom I got to go outside." she said nervously, Kyra looked confused. "Honey, it's too cold." she said tugging Akira's back.

Akira shook off Kyra's hand, "It's fine." she said, she walked out of the door and ran downstairs. she then ran into some bushes, she was listening to what they were saying.

"They said that the cat lives here." one of them said, the other human nodded, "After looking for three years we finally found her." Akira sighed, knowing that they will interrogate her family, "Hey!" she said loudly to them, the human looked over to her, "It's her!" they said.

Akira ran as fast as she could down the street, "Stop!" they said, Akira drawled out her knife. "Don't hurt my family!" she yelled, she then quickly turned around and ran towards them. They got out their guns but Akira already has beaten them to the punch, she flipped one of them over and took the gun away from him.

She pointed it at the other human, "You should leave now." she said, she started pulling the trigger. The human grinned, "You should know better." he said, he then snapped the gun out of Akira's hands. Akira staggered at the pain from the rebuttal, she grabbed her wrist.

The other human got up quickly and grabbed Akira's arms, "That wasn't hard." he said, Akira struggled to release herself from the tight grip but couldn't, "let me go!" she yelled, one of the humans walked up to her. "won't hurt a tick." he said grinning, he then cuffed Akira's hands and put her in a SUV, "Fine, take me, but leave my family alone!" she said. he grinned, "we won't, but you will work for us." he said.

Things got interesting.

Akira was sleeping in a SUV while two humans where also in it, "she's a different kind of cat, not too normal but different enough to warrant a search on her, she might go to the United States for government testing." one of them said.

Akira then woke up to find herself in a parking lot near a large building, "Where are we?" she said, the human opened the door, "Toronto." Akira then looked out to find the city, Akira has been in Toronto several times, but never in the center of it. "Come on." they said.

Akira followed them into a elevator, "Cats don't normally come here, as it's basically all-human testing." one of them said, "No cat has been in this area since the early 90's when Canada decided to keep animals out of official government facilities." he said escorting her to the lobby.

It was surprisingly airy and light for a government building with lots of light streaming through the glass and white marble through the floor though the floor was very cold which made Akira's feet freeze. "Here." he said as they went into a room with several chairs spread about "Now sit down." he said, he took off his coat revealing a sweater showing a tree.

"Oh forgot to introduce myself, my name's Will, and this is Brian." he said pointed to him, "We are here to see your potential." Akira was surprised at Will's light personality despite him taking Akira by force yesterday, Brian looked more traditional of a government official.

"Now we see for even a cat you're a adept fighter." Will said as he drank soda, "More impressive you managed to take down two well-trained humans as a kitten." Akira did know how to fight but only for emergencies. "I personally am a fan of you, been studying your techniques since you were assigned as a interest to the Canadian government." he said.

"He kinda of new here, so he's naturally interested in stuff like this, three years he's been here and his main assignment has been to watch you." Brian said, Akira was interested in that a young man has been interested in her since she was born, but why since she was born?

"So we are going to take you to a training center near here, so we can study strengths and weaknesses." Will said finished his drink, he looked in there and then looked at Akira, "thirsty?" Akira smacked her lips to show she was and Will handed her milk. "We need a more detailed scope of your fighting." Brian said, "It's standard testing, though we modified it to fit your cat physique."

They headed to the training center which looked large and covered with obstacles, Will smiled "No biggie." Akira shrugged then went to the spot Brian told her to stay at. "Okay, so first we are going to do some simple exercises."

Will pointed Akira to a large wall that she was asked to climb, "Think you can do it?" he said, Akira nodded and ran towards and climbed it quickly to the top and jumped down to the bottom, "Great, humans have a harder time with that wall." Will said with enthusiasm, "Now can you defend?"

Akira saw a robot approached her and she jumped on top and ripped the exposed wires out. "Excellent, we are making good progress here."

Hmm... secret government testing. I wonder how this will turn out.
